Saw the Beastie Boys in concert in Orlando FL back in 1984. They were opening up for Madonna (of all people). Thought they were great even then.

I was devastated when i hear this news, and almost wrecked.

I think the Beastie Boys are one of the most innovative bands of all time.

If you dont mind I may start a tribute thread.

the music industry had a huge loss today.
