I might as well post what I did find about this exercise.
www.denverpost.com...

False reports claimed the drills would involve the Russians seizing CIA computers in Denver and taking over the city's airport.

I accept apologizes from those that made uncalled for comments.

Those that think that RT is reliable need to rethink that issue.

No, there really is. The DOD admitted they would be training here at Ft. Carson, paratroopers & some such, but the whole thing about the airport & computers was erroneous information denied by them. So, the fact is, is that they WILL be here in Colorado, just not virtually overtaking the state in a planned exercise as stated originally by some outlets. Here is an Army Times article, with information submitted by the Associated Press:

www.armytimes.com...

FORT CARSON, Colo. — Members of the Russian military will visit a Colorado Army base this month to train with a dozen U.S. troops.

Twenty Russian soldiers will visit Fort Carson at the end of May, Fort Carson spokesman Lt. Col. Steve Osterholzer said Monday.

It will be the first time Russian military members will train at the base near Colorado Springs.

Osterholzer said the goal is to have foreign troops work together to exchange basic training skills used when working together out on the field. The troops will practice parachute jumps, fire basic weapons, conduct medical evacuations and will mountaineer west of the base.

The Russians will be escorted around the clock by senior ranking U.S. military officers and no classified information will be exchanged.

Reports last month swirled around supposed controversy over the visit. False reports claimed the drills would involve the Russians seizing CIA computers in Denver and taking over the city’s airport.

The exercise follows a recent bilateral agreement between the U.S. and Russia that focuses on cooperation in counterterrorism, Osterholzer said.

“The end result of this program is an improved understanding of how other foreign military work,” he said.

As part of the exchange program, there are plans to send handful U.S. service members to Russia next year for similar training.

In 2010, American, Russian and Canadian military officers conducted a three-day exercise to test how well they could track an international terrorist hijacking over the Pacific Ocean. The exercise over the ocean involved commanders at the North American Aerospace Defense Command at Colorado’s Peterson Air Force base.

Yesterday this one englishrussia.com...

The threads about Russia here for some kind of joint training was put in threads on ATS a while back.

I find the timing very interesting.

Well, people say it might be a movie prop, though, who knows. The timing of everything is strange, I agree with you. Here's the article on Putin, and looks like since the release of this article, he's now mostly likely pulling out of the G8 as well. Scheduling conflicts and assumptions about strained relations of missile defense shield are the supposed culprits:

www.mail.com...

www.huffingtonpost.com...

If things are that tense, why have Russian troops training here as all of this is going on?

Its more likely Russian police vehicles are linked to the joint training excercises and that they might be preparing ahead of time for these configurations leading up to the Transit, is possible and it also shows to me, a possibility of them enhancing the allignment, planning with scalar wave technology to create their sacrifice and portal opening. I don't believe they're accidents or cosmic but crimes and amped up ones.

For them its all sacrifices and portals/stargates opening. And that is not the good guys.

There were threads on the joint ventures and them coming over, with links at the time, now it would take ages to find, and I don't have 2 hours or more to look.

You got taken by the false reports as the paper called them or hoaxes as I call them.

Sure there was a lot of repetition of same hoax. That's what people do. They push the same jackass hoax onward and then think that lots of copies of the same lies must be meaningful.

Do I believe some poster named stereologist or Colin Andrews who has been investigating crop circle phenomena (and coined the name "crop circle") for several decades?

Good old Colin has been the laughing stock of the world as he pretends that art is something else. He's a simpleton that cannot get over being hoodwinked. It's sad isn't it?

I'm not sure you can guarantee that is all that would happen.

The Earth's magnetic field can barely move a compass needle. You are surrounded by stronger magnetic fields all of the time from toy magnets to electric motors to transformers and power lines. Electronics can stand quite strong fields, much much stronger than the Earth's field and be unaffected.

I stated that there would be Russian troops here but not doing all of the things claimed in that idiotic article that was being posted.

The article I linked to is basically what you posted.

One of the interesting aspects of CTers is that when shown that the original information is a bunch of cow pies they continue to act as if there was some merit to the original lie.

Here there was the claim that the original article was true despite the fact that only 1 source was repeated many times. There was no confirmation from any other source. Now it is known that that the original claim was junk. Still there are those that see something in it. Makes me smile to see people unable to recognize that a hoax has been committed.

There is a lesson to be learned here: don't be so gullible.

I apologize, I thought, at first-glace, you were discrediting the whole thing. What I find interesting about the whole story is that it took the hoax for any officials to actually admit any kind of exercise would be going on. I live in Colorado, not too far to the north of Ft. Carson and if there is anything else to know, I'll see it. Perhaps the "hoax" was to gain some sort of acknowledgement of the exercise, since none was really being given to it beforehand. I know it is an exercise, but I personally find it to be significant that we are having another country's troops training here, even without the airport stuff to add in to the mix. This is especially so, considering the tensions between us and Russia at the moment. When the president won't come here to pre-scheduled summits because of our stance on policy (missile shields), then why would we have their troops over here? Would we have Korea or China or Iran over here training with our troops? Maybe not the same, but, in my opinion, in the same vein, considering.

Military training exercises involving more than 1 country are common. We run exercises with troops in other countries all of the time. Why not an exercise here in the US? This is a small deal. It does not seem to involve live round training which we do at times. There are hardly any troops involved. I'll bet this was scheduled out so long ago that to the people involved it did not seem like news. Often militaries invite observers to their exercises. It beats looking for spies or worrying abut satellites.

Colin Andrew Andrews is a well known nut. You may choose to believe in his idiotic claims. I know better.

His failures have been reported widely. Do I need to provide links or evidence of my opinion? No. Do you offer anything at all - nothing I've seen in any threads where you have posted.

In the following link we learn how Colin Andrews made audacious and foolish claims about a crop circle made by musicians. Andrews even called in the crop circle find to TV before realizing that he had been hoaxed - as are all crop circle researchers. The 2, Doug and Dave, that started this fun were responsible for many of the crop circles that Andrews labeled not man made. But the 2 were not the originators of crop circles. They were the 2 that made this fun known.

One little-known account states that in the first half of the 20th century, the existence and origins of crop circles was quite well-known. Young lovers were said to have made such circles to “enjoy themselves”, without being seen by family members. Apparently, several such circles were made in different locations, so that the young lovers had various places of close encounters of the sexual kind (CE-X?), without parental oversight.

www.philipcoppens.com...

Crop circles are installation art and fools like Colin Andrews still attempt to earn a living off of the gullible.

When and if the sun creates 4 poles on itself, The new equatorial poles of the sun will be in line with our equator as I understand. This does not exist right now. Right now we have a north and south pole, same as the sun. As we know, the current system creates anomolies at the poles, now if 2 more poles (4 total) become a reality on the sun this month, you think nothing will change? Especially as right now it's a positive and negative polarity to the north and south, but it's possible with a quadrupolar situation it would be 2 negatives at the north south poles of the sun and positives at the equatorial poles, what would that do to us? That's a lot of pulling in all directions.

We'll have to wait and see. Its important to second guess what could be happening and then if something does happen, and suddenly, surprise surprise, Russia is there to help them deal with it, then to bring up how this arranged state of affairs was already second guessed as likely. This is what we have to, see possible scenarios and lay them out and if enough did it, they would always have egg on their face if they carry forth bad plans.

Colin Andrews vindication came in the best form possible. The UK's public admission that UFOs and crop circles were inherently entwined. Specifically their admission to documenting UFOs in the process of making crop circles and releasing that information in 2011.

Those who express their disbelief in front of overwhelming and continually mounting evidences on crop circles are also the ones who dismiss with severe prejudice remote viewing and its scientifically underpinnings. There is no effort worth making to attempt to extract those with such concrete preconceived and contrived opinions out of their boxed and vaulted mindsets.

Don't even try.
They are in the state of rigidity they want and deserve to be, comfortable in their living coffins.

The Sun's magnetic field does not control the Earth's orbit. Gravity shapes our solar system. The shape of the Earth's magnetic field is altered not so much by the Sun's field, but by the ionized solar wind. A moving electric field generates a magnetic field. The complex interactions cause the shape of the field as we see it, rather than the Sun altering the Earth's field directly.

The change in the Sun's field happens every 11 years on average. This change like the last half a billion since life started on Earth is not going to have much of an affect.

Interesting. You posted in response to my comment on crop circles.

Anywho, Russia is sending over very few people. They are here to help just in case? Certainly doesn't look that way.

Crop circle charlatans such as Colin Andrews have been applying egg on their faces for years as they have been shown to claim crop circles are real and then been shown who made them. It's art. That all. It is art. It does what art is supposed to do. It makes people think and discuss issues.

As far as remote viewing s concerned, it is a failure. It has been tested scientifically and failed. It is not scientific in nature.

The gullible refuse to open their minds to the evidence that shows crop circles are man made and remote viewing does not work. I believe that this can be fixed. I am open to the possibilities.

So, you need to change the discussion away from the details of a possible quadrupolar sun cycle to "this happens every 11 years, we're all still alive, the sun doesn't really effect our magnetic poles, and throwing in, a change in earth orbit",. In this side discussion of this possible sun magnetic shift, nowhere was earth's orbit changing ever mentioned. And if you read the article I posted earlier, it does say the sun does strongly control our polar fields. Also quoting the 11 year cycle as normal, while leaving out an abnormal TYPE of flip that has not happened in 300 years, and before ELECTRICITY, is a little flip of you, pun intended.
