Found this ODD: ATS in 1969? Why are topics showing date 1969?

Ummm Have I missed all the years of ATS? You guys weren't around on net then were ya?

If the date field has a value of zero, it will show the lowest date for a time field range, 1969.

edit: 1969-12-31 18:00:00 on my system.

Date glitch, that's all it is. I used to be an admin on another website that was actually a text based game. Once a year the forums would glitch out and screw up the dates. I suppose the result of this problem was caused by misconfiguration of the dates when this ATS first came in place.

Who knows.

I am UTC -6 so the 1969 (-6 hr from UTC 0) date time. aren't the ATS servers in the -6 TZ also.

Actually ATS was using dixie cups and string back then. One mod. Carl. Used to run around with sissors.

It's alternate reality bleed through. Alternate reality #36973-47C created the internet on may 17th 1936 their time. It was created by Michele Jawarsky III, as a way to peek into different timelines and was only partially successful as seen by the limited number of posts from their timeline.
