The Opposite Thread

Hi ATS-ers!

Lemme 'splain this thread idea.
When in debate, a key to success is arguing the other sides opinion to gain insight into the core subject. That way, you can attack the central subject with accuracy.

I propose a thread where conservatives can act as liberals. Where leftists can espouse free-market systems. Where normal folk can act as Indigos (apparently a big topic here), and where even 9/11 folks can place the bame on muslim extremists.

On this thread, I will be a vegan. I will wear Birkenstocks, support Occupy, hate guns, love big government, have dreadlocks, and have that funny little beard thing that looks like left-over gravy from lunch.

I hope you all will join me.

well,this certainly sounds like a rant! i'm just not sure what its about!
not sure if i can participate,because i dont think i fit into any of these catagouries.
maybe you can start a new one and rant about my poor keyboarding abilities!!!

Not so much a rant as an exercise in debating the other side of an issue.

This is opposite thread, so you're really saying you didn't search, won't delete it and not contribute to Bonchos thread. And you're NOT sorry!

A vegan? What, you can't stand seeing animals raised in little pens with their bodily stuff piling up around them and then eating what's left? Ha! What kind of lib monkey are you anyway, vegan man? Please defend your vegan lifestyle.

In the spirit of the actual thread I will start:

I am so glad free energy is now available to the masses. All we have to do is buy a kit for it from an online retailer, assemble it ourselves and voila! We all have free energy! No more paying cash to big oil and the monopolized energy markets! Sheesh life is grand...

Eating meat is a waste and a harm on the environment. Man can get all the protein from tofu and soy beans if needed.
