India test fired a new missile called Agni V on the 18th of this month. Claimed it to be 5000km in range, also claimed it to be its first ICBM.

But to be an ICBM a missile must have a range of at least 5500km.

Note: Only 4 countries have developed an ICBM- U.S, Russia, France and China.

Now let us look at some facts:

U.S have the Minuteman III, a land based missile developed in the 1960s, and Russia has the Topol M developed in the 1990s. Both are long range ICBMs.

Let us compare them with the Indian missile:

WEIGHT:

Minuteman III- 36 Tons

Topol- 47 tons

Agni V- 50 tons

FLIGHT ALTITUDE:

Minuteman III- 1,120 KM

Topol- 400 KM

Agni V- 600 KM

TERMINAL VELOCITY:

Minuteman III- 7 km/s

Topol- 7.3 km/s

Agni V- 7 km/sec

RANGE:

Minuteman III- 13,000 km

Topol- 11,000 km

Agni V- 5,000 km

Now look at the stats. Everythings the same except for the range. The range is usually declared by the officials. Both the russian and the U.S ICBM has a declared range of over 10.000 km but the Indian is only 5000km. The indian missile Agni III can cover that range of 5000km as the declared Agni V can.

The Indians are definately hiding something here. And the chinese have picked up on that.

Du Wenlong, a researcher at China's PLA Academy of Military Sciences, told the Global Times that the Agni-V "actually has the potential to reach targets 8,000 kilometers away". "The Indian government had deliberately downplayed the missile's capability in order to avoid causing concern to other countries," Du added.

Now the question is that,India has a capability to hit all around the world with the introduction of its new Nuclear Submarine along with the leased Akula Class nuclear submarine. Why does India need to develop these kinds of missiles and why do they want to hide its capabilities. Especially when compared with other countries who actually exaggerate their capabilities?

range will probably depend on the ammount of fuel loaded into the missile so if you want a 5k max distance you just make the fuel tanks a %age smaller and technically theres nothing you can do since people will be able to measure tank capacity and work out distance and say its true but a small 'maintenance' refit could possibly easy add the required distance and who would really notice?

Waste of time and money.

No country is going to get off a Nuclear First Strike, and even if they did, what would the end-game be? If someone launches a Nuke at a population center, even if they successfully hit it, which is doubtful, but even if they hit it, the launching country will be wiped off the face of the earth before they know what hit them.

Nuclear weapons are yesterday's news, and the countries still trying to build them are definitely not part of the in-crowd.

Star Wars defense was 30 years ago, and it was old tech then! Imagine what the tech available now is like. Intelligence networks are now totally digital, and totally integrated into electronics and airwaves. Nothing is getting done without 1/2 the world knowing about it well in advance.

We are now in the times of economic crimes, NWO agendas, and small terroristic threats implanted with the approval of both governments to manipulate the people.

Nuke weapons are a joke in today's developed nations.

Actually these missile are canister-ed launched, ie, they must always be the fixed size, especially when you want to launch it from a submarine. The point to be noted is the weight which is directly proportional to the fuel weight. it being a solid fueled missile is the same as the U.S or Russian missile.

That being said we must also note that a missile can be depressed from its maximum apogee, ie the max height it must reach to hit a target farther away. This Agni V can reach the moon if not in a ballistic path, that means it has no max range. As long as it reaches orbit and drops out when ever it wants.

Wiki states India does not have a first strike policy, that means it will only respond to a nuclear strike by launching its own nukes against the atacking country. It also has its own Star Wars like anti missile reaserch and lasers like Kali etc which can be used to destroy incoming warheads. Also a Anti Ballistic Missile Defense system like the Patriot is nearly operation there.

Funny how the U.S. isn't all over this "Missile" test from India. Could it be that India isn't an OIL PRODUCER?
They have nothing to gain by attacking India so they let them do what they want and make it look like nothing ever happened there!

But IRAN....wait, they are EVIL!

Maybe that is because the Indian government does not try to threaten other countries and rattle their sabres? Maybe they have no madman as a leader who hates the U.S. ?

I live in europe and I am not at all afraid of an Indian Nuclear Missile. India won't start a war, my country won't start a war.

The fact that there are more ways to get communications out is the death knell for TPTB and their nuclear agenda(s).

They *think* they can bring down communications but they are outnumbered by those in the know.

even so, considering how it all started at Trinity, 6 scientists out of 19 thinking the sky caught on fire, it's a miracle that we didn't destroy ourselves yet.
