UNIDENTIFIED LIGHTS over the Gulf March 15th 2012 DESTIN FLORIDA Two different videos / angles Real

Alright, allow me to say first and foremost that I have never held a belief on the subject of UFOs. I'm very open to the possibility, but I'm just ignorant of most of the evidence and stories. This has, however, gotten me intrigued.

Here's how the story goes:

The first video was shot by a close friend of mine on his vacation to Florida. This video is not edited in any way shape or form. It starts off by him video taping the lights and him saying how he is shaking. He's telling the truth, he "don't shake too much". He comments by saying, "The kids down there are filming it too" because it was shot from his hotel balcony and he observed teenagers videotaping the same incident. After posting his video online, he actually finds the video shot by the teenagers. That is the second video. Anyways, pretty crazy because I can personally verify one of these videos. What are you guys thoughts?

I am sure the aliens know all the swear words of the human race by now. Good Grief! Do people really talk like that? I thought that was just Hollywood B movies that have excessive swear words. This is not a G rated UFO sighting for sure.

I can't see the videos, but lights over Destin, Navarre, Gulf Breeze are very common, and there are lots of little alien hot spots down Hwy 98 for tourists. There are also a lot of USO occurrences and footages from that area.

In all likelihood it is some military activity from Eglin Air Force Base, or Hurlburt Field. I used to love to sit on my patio and watch the AC-130 Gunships fire at the range adjacent to my house. The lights would flash at dusk, and then the rat-a-tat-tat would shake the house a few seconds later. It was pretty cool.

Lights in the sky are so common down there, even if it was a flying saucer, I doubt anyone but the tourists would notice.

I recently (on my 22'nd birthday - March 7th) Also saw (my first UFO) - so I can't say it isn't possible. And I'm pretty sure I had the same reaction, shaking.. The lights were unlike anything I'd ever seen, going from one light into a circular orb of lights with green and red lighting and then a plane neared and it zapped back into one light that looked like a white star above. I wasn't alone either, witnesses saw the same thing. Annnnnd then I bought a telescope lol >.> No luck yet!

1) not sure if story is well planed hoax or true

2) cannot find any clue what this might be - lights are too much moving for a RC

Edit: oh sorry bahahah.

I know it doesn't mean much, But I can for sure vouch for the first video, but not the second one. Although at that point it would be a pretty elaborate attempt at a hoax.

Sounds like a bunch of southern boys at the beach to me. Not G rated, but worth it to bask in the accents.

Both videos are pretty inconclusive though your friend got a more clear shot.

Cussing is almost as hilarious as the Trinidad UFO but great footage. Not sure if it's a hoax or not but we need the rest of the experts to weigh in.

What the light(s) is/are --? However, the audio is clearly a testament to the de-evolution of human communication and proof of the utter failure of our modern education system.

Destin sits at the end of the runway of the largest Air Force Base in the world. I think the second one is flares being dumped from an aircraft.

Really? No opinion. Take another look at it. It's floating. It's primarily yellow. It appears to have yellowish bits of it dropping off as it floats. Care to hazard a guess?

i live less than a mile to a mile and a half from one of the the bomb ranges on eglin afb.
eglin is only about 20 to 30 minutes drive from destin, gulf breeze. as a matter of fact there use to be a air force radar station right on the gulf side of hwy 98 between ft walton bch and destin. if any thing i would tend to believe, that most of the ufo, and uso sighted around here are the military. many people forget that the moab ( mother of all bombs) was tested here at eglin.

Yeah some flares are droped with parachutes to slow their descent. The Yellowish bits are bit larger parts of the flare melting off the core.

I call hoax, sorry op I don't believe anyone can vouch for another individual.. Pretty elaborate hoax? Not really, just need a couple people with cameras and for them to have youtube accounts. Both of which are hardly rare! I don't know, just seems pretty cheesy to me.

I do believe ufo's are possible. I don't believe this is one!

There is zero context. For all we know they are filming something on a TV.....
And sounds like poor acting, IMO....

we have no evidence this is a UFO. it could be lights on a stationary object or a TV or party lights on a boat or house or who knows....but with zero context there is nothing that says this is FLYING....

this is simply an unidentified light. that's it.

i see them all the time all over the mountains here....lights, not flying, but no identity to what they are attached to here.

Looks like a ship, and the light from it reflects in the water, making it look like something wierd.
It's not flying , it's sailing.

They routinely test aircraft at Eglin. Eglin has the largest clean hangar in the world (for painting aircraft, or at least it did when I still lived there).

Hurlburt Field is home ot Special Operations Command, and when 9/11 was on-going, President Bush touched down at Hurlburt before he went on to Louisianna and made his speech. It has never been publicly confirmed, but plenty of us saw AF1, and the fighter escorts, and Hurlburt went into full lockdown and nobody was allowed outside a building for a good 45 minutes while his plane was on the ground there.

Airborne and Ranger training is done at Eglin, and last I checked Eglin was still the largest Air Force Base in the world in regards to total acreage. Pensacola NAS is a stone's through down Hwy 98, and it is home to the Blue Angels, and new pilot training, and just up the road the other direction is Panama City's Tyndal Air Force base. In between Pensacola and Destin, 60 miles or so to the north is the home of Bell Helicopters.

There is so much aircraft activity in this area that it would be impossible for anyone to know the difference between civilian sight-seeing flights, RC type craft, military craft, or alien craft. The only thing for certain is that nothing would slip past the military observance here, so if it didn't get shot out of the sky, then it had permission to be there! The barrier islands are riddled with radar sites, and there is always live ammunition in the air flying around for training on the live ranges. Nothing could fly through this area undetected or unaccosted. No way, no how!

"Looks like" reentering space junk. Video only picks up on it at the end . Dipping, falling like a leaf shedding bits that break off. Slower and slower and then gone. Very high altitude it seems. Shallow trajectory slow burn up/out and then gone. Space junk reentry of tanks and other bits on increase with more and more world wide launches. Reentry is designed to be flat and slow over oceans to insure burn up in the upper atmosphere before impact.

Just an opinion from shaky blurry un zoomed footage. When will people learn to use their cameras?
Steady platform... Lean against a tree or rail or something...focus Jack... slow zoom in and out... steadyyyyy. and most of all STFU!
