As I posted in your other thread, I'd be interested in being on your jury if you still have openings.

I think I qualify because I am reasonably open-minded about the situation and I don't come to the table with a for-or-against position for either side, really. No axe to grind.

So is this going to be the thread where the prosecution will begin opening?

I'm anxious to see what the prosecution presents and what the defence presents.
I'm sure it's going to be a tough trial.

Okay by me. Prosecution hasn't begun opening statements yet. Contact mamabeth as she is the jury foreman.

No, we'll keep that i the other thread. This one was made to provide just general discussion. I want the relavent points to be kept in the original thread.

As to your questions made in the other thread, those issues should be kept secondary to the core issue of defining the actions that took place that caused the death of Martin.

We'll give the prosecution just a wee bit more time.

I mean you wouldn't tell who's starring but are we allowed to?

Absolutely. There are no restrictions as to starring. Some jurors (in real life) may like what a prosecutor or defense council has to say.

Yeah, we should probably know some ground rules, as the jury.
Like we probably shouldn't post in the actual thread right?
And if we have a question, should we ask you (Your Honor) here or U2U so the DA and PA don't see it? Or should they?

Just don't want a mistrial!!!

I would suggest that the jury refrain from discussion until the trial has reached it's conclusion provided by the defense and prosecution.

Aftrerwards, any deliberation can take place in this thread.

Just to keep it exciting, any final deliberation or votes cast, should be done by U2U to the foreman.

I'm making this up as I go. If there are any other suggestions that may be better. . . I'm all ears.

I'm glad the case is still active, it nearly took an unexpected turn with Abe quitting as the Prosecution, which he's in his right to do so. Better late than never they say.
