Yes you heard it. There is so much vote rigging against Ron Paul, the one and only statesman we have. The one countryman who is trying to fix our country. The one candidate who is not bought out by the corporations. The one candidate who can bring hope and change. I believe that the American public is hopeless beyond repair. They have been too effectively brainwashed, perhaps better than the Nazi youth and SS brainwashing propaganda techniques. It will only take drastic measures to wake us up, but sadly there will be many people who will say that martial law is good. Remmeber the SS officers who thought it was good. It is beyond hopeless at this point. We are the frog in the water and the heat is turning up slowly and slowly and it is probably already too late. Have we past the point of no return? Is is possible to repair the constitution at this point? Do we need men in military uniform and M-16s patrolling the streets to bring about change? It is the worst possible scenario, but perhaps the one that will open the eyes. Remember the movie "The Siege", one of my favorites...enjoy American Idol and the Kardasians while our country burns by traitors.

eventually someone would step out their front door and shoot the stormtrooper nazi looking guy in black, then everyone else gets the same idea and ignites a full blown civil war between free citizens and the state forces.
it's easy as hell to predict.

Dear THE_PROFESSIONAL,

It is easy to get frustrated in these times; but, history shows that nothing is permanent and all passes. Moderation and calm are generally the best answer. As for politics, it has always been a show, I refer to it as the theater of the absurd because it is. True revolution is a fallacy, revolutions and coups and martial law all result in tyranny of the most blatant and harsh type. All societies and approaches eventually fail and what we are seeing now is nothing more than the old system trying to hang on; but, it cannot and the "powers that be" know this, they studied history too, so all they are doing is trying to steal as much as they can before the inevitable end.

The Chinese have a saying that is both a curse and a blessing depending on how you take it, they say, "May you live in interesting times" and we do. Nothing will move in a better direction until we all (tptb and the 99%) all discover that we have to work together again or nothing will work at all. Peace and enjoy the weekend.

Not sure how it would be beneficial for Martial Law to be announced via the Main Stream Media simultaneously to hundreds of millions of people nationwide.

How would that work towards achieving the goals of what Martial Law is intended for?

I can't imagine how announcing Martial Law to 300+ million Americans at the same time could help maintain public order and safety...

the law administered by military forces that is invoked by a government in an emergency when the civilian law enforcement agencies are unable to maintain public order and safety
www.merriam-webster.com...

No. Main Stream Media would be weaponized and used to manipulate the thought patterns of people on a grand scale, most likely without them being consciously aware of it.

The U.S. Department of Defense defines psychological warfare as:

"The planned use of propaganda and other psychological actions having the primary purpose of influencing the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of hostile foreign groups in such a way as to support the achievement of national objectives."
en.wikipedia.org...

My professional opinion?

We are already under martial law, certainly to some degree at the very least. We have been for decades, if not longer.

Martial law??

Wouldnt your time be better spent joining one of the various movements we have out there who SPEAK UP and display their OUTRAGE??

Like showing your OUTRAGE over voting machines and elections being RIGGED...

They MUST be RIGGED as we cannot POSSIBLY have this many STUPID AMERICANS who will vote one of those other republican CLOWNS in over Ron Paul.

Rigged because MANY folks have been waking UP and are realizing what the "typical" politician has been doing to them... and doing to them WITHOUT ANY LUBE...

Be patient. The change you are looking for is right around the corner.

The entire fate of our country does not hinge on the election of RP, even though he could help soften the blow.

We are entering the point of no return as a nation. Debt has gone out of control, people (even on this website) are too wrapped up in the game to realize what is happening and it will not be long that the world sits back and watches America finally soil itself in the name of false freedom and crony capitalism.

Religious bigotry and extremism is rising to the point that it is counter-productive to it's own teachings and they are so blind that they do not see the "rapture" they are creating.

Just be patient. We are all about to get what we deserve and at least I can say that I am prepared....and my hands are clean!

How many of you can say the same?

These are lies. Many revolutions have lead to freedom. What happened after we revolted against the British?

We don't need TPTB. If we chop off their heads, perhaps we can get back to working together. Tyrants won't willingly give up their power. They won't suddenly realize the errors of their ways. That's just wishful thinking, kid.

temporary freedom and unity, and the end result is what we have now, the even BIGGER empire. 300 years in the making, technoligically advanced with just about the same mentality as every other.

growing in size..

It's all temporary, and cyclic.

Stop focusing on the worst parts!

We're not going to get anywhere like that

We need revolution, and ideas to come from outside the current social/power structure.

You're figgin stoopid!

Since This is ATS I can't just call you stupid but also provide argument for my position so here goes...

You're friggin stupid!!!!

You want the military in control of 34th and Winston? You want to answer to a private when you shop for necessities at wal-mart?

You want this for the sake of making your political view appear as "the way things should be"?

One countryman does not a country fix. What good would a Ron Paul election victory do if all who elected him believe their role in fixing the country is done? Martial law will certainly not fix this country and beating people into submission is hardly a way to convince them that they are the holders of the inherent political power.

You point to The Siege to make your argument, allow me to point to Braveheart to make mine. William Wallace and his fellow Scot's lived under what could be fairly called "martial law" and it was not - at least according to Randall Wallace's screenplay (but hey, we're pointing to movies so...) - martial law that led to an uprising, it was the actions of one very angry warrior that inspired that nation a thousand years ago.

I am not putting words in your mouth, nor making any assumptions about you, but as long as people believe that it is the ability to "elect our leaders" that makes us free we will most assuredly never be free.

Yup we were free after we defeated the British. But we're now corrupt again aren't we? Money corrodes morals and values and leads to inevitable corruption. I believe as long as the concept of currency and the monetary system exist in our society there will always be corruption, disharmony, perversity and war. Lets get rid of the monetary system and take care of each other, welcome the 1 world super communist state. The stigma's and taboos that have been stuck to the words socialism and communism in america is pure bull#, it's backwards, Capitalism should be the taboo, Communism should be embraced.

Thank you! Finally someone says something.......Honest and to the point!

Countries throughout history have to reach a point, where the people force change! The USA will be no different. Hopefully the revolution won't be too horrible.
