Even though Normark is an excellent source for this information and has a remarkably clear statement on the issues is there a possibility that some of Geryl's claims might be true. I mean most of his claims involve the magnetic field of the Earth and Normark is an archaeologist.

But his claims stem from his so-called interpretation of Mayan and Egyptian texts. That falls squarely in the realm of archaeology. Not to mention this his claims rely on invoking Plato's Atlantis but then ignoring Plato altogether and saying Atlantis was in Antarctica. Furthermore, if Normark's opinions on the topic should be ignored because he doesn't have a background in astrophysics why should we even listen to Geryl in the first place? He has neither a background in astrophysics nor archaeology and yet he uses both of these fields in his theory. Here is the 2012hoax page on Geryl which does a great job showing that his theories are pure fantasy.

How do you know that a pole shift cannot happen overnight?

You must have a logical reason.

Are you being sarcastic with this topic, you always kind of take the No side. Well, this time I will do that and let's bet money, I bet all that in 2012, 21st of Dec or even the days around it, even the beginning of 2013, it will happen as much as what 'happened' today 22/03/2012 as some started giving sooner dates.

(Note: it often happens the opposite of what I say when I intentionally say smth, so I want to provoke it but no, dont worry about it, sometimes no really means NO)

That's what is catching my attention in this thread, much more than anything else...

THIS may be a REAL sign of the end times!

I'm asking questions and getting few responses.

Geryl thinks that magnetic forces are strong enough to affect the Earth going even so far as to "flip" it.

Why is there the lack of support for Geryl?
