I have a question for you ATS.

Do you ever find that when you are dreaming you revisit places that you have never been in real life, but revisited several times in multiple dreams?

Do you ever come across people you know very well in dreams, but not in real life?

Or some of each that you do know in life and some you only know in dreams?

This is a strange phenomena I vaguely recollect. It's almost like I live a separate, spiritual life. Some of the places I have revisited include a giant skate park where there is a fabulous ditch you can ride down, perfect half pipe all the way down until you get to lower ground where there is a street park and a mega half pipe and a few bowls.

Another place I have gone is a structure built out over the ocean it is like a grid of concrete rows and columns that stretch out over the deep ocean.

I have many others but for some reason it's hard for me to recall unless I am in a dream state, those were just a couple of examples.

But I find more and more that there are people I meet and remember and have grown quite fond of, in my dreams that is. People I have never met in real life.

I always dream about the same location. The exterior is a wooded island with peninsulas. The interior is a large hybrid complex with a casino/hotel, a school, and many courtyards. I'm an experienced lucid dreamer, so that may be why the setting is always the same.

The attachment I feel to some of these experiences I have had in dreams is a bit comforting I have to say. It lets me know that there is more to life then here and now. But the attachment I have to these people and places I have never met or been before is a bit hard to explain.

I think that we simultaneously exist within multiple alternate realities...

And what i'm doing right now and the people i see and interact with, while i'm awake here in this life,is what and who i dream about while i'm asleep in another reality...

And the places and people that i dream about in this reality,is what i was doing and who i was interacting with while i was awake within an alternate reality...

Hidden realms somehow connected to ours upon some mysterious wavelength, within some unknown frequency of the electromagnetic spectrum where natural laws, structures of society and technologies are similar, yet different to ours...

Thats why our dreams are often filled with strangely familiar surrealistic images, events, abilities and people and there may exist, hundreds, thousands,or even millions of alternate realities...

I have dreamed about the same (or almost the same) places before, but not consistently. Meaning, I might have one the same here and there, but then won't see it again. Not sure about the people. Often not ones I know in real life, but can't recall if any were the same or not. The most prominent people in my dreams are usually family and friends. Some deceased, but people I really know.

I am a Lucid Dreamer which means I always know I am dreaming. Now you can have some fun with this...but it does not interfer with my Creative Hemesphere working with my subconcious and Conscious Alpha/Beta wave mix during REM sleep.

When dreaming I can go places I have been to but have been altered into multiple forms of other places so they seem as if I have never been there...then there is the posibility that my Right Hemesphere...Creative side...is just making these things up from scratch.

I underwent a CT scan a little while back when i came down with a case of Vertigo....the E.R. Doctors said that alot of people were getting it as a Virus transmitted By CATS of all things was spreding it. I thought I was having a stroke so they gave me a CT scan...the Doctor came back said I was OK and then said that the scan showed a very thick connectivity of pathays between my Lft and Right Brain Hemespheres...in some people this is a problem because in reality we are all THREE INDIVIDUALS....the Subonscious Mind which records everything your sences take in as data and retains it forever....your Left Hemesphere which is your Analitical Side...and your Right Hemesphere which is your Creative side. If you have a problem allowing one side to become dominant depending on a question or problem or deision...they will argue and they perform a type of sugery that cuts the connections between the two sides of the brain....in me...it works fine....I KNOW I am 3 people but I use it as an advantage. I also can get some pretty cool dreams. Split Infinity

Yes. Yes. Yes. During a lot of my dreams I'd say to myself, "Hey, I've been here before!" or meet up with a friend and be so thankful even though I don't know these people in real life, I don't recall seeing them in real life but the subconscious part of me may remember faces and voices of people I've walked past and glanced at before during my time awake. I feel familiar with their character in my dreams as it is not such a stretch that there is, or has been, or will be those that look and act like those in my dreams. To my disadvantage, in my opinion I don't feel as though I am qualified to write detailed information as I don't think I can adequately describe what has been felt and visualized, nor as a single parent do I have the energy anymore to relay my dreams and I am not at liberty to journal my dreams in the morning as my son's needs take a higher priority. I've given a star to biocula because I resonate with the idea that our spirits visit these diverse realities or dimensions and have often wondered whether other people entertain the same idea, that there is a collective consciousness which collects memories for each individual whereby concepts are shared and understood during the sleep stage, and when we have woken, our subconcious retains the experience, and we wake in the day convinced of our sanity.

I wonder if it is possible that humans have a spiritual connection, or it the world was one organism and we were it's counterparts that meeting others in dreams that we don't know in life has something to do with the global subconscious?

Not really sure how to express that thought, but I gave it a shot.

The earth is a super consciousness entity existing within multiple dimensions simultaneously and we are its dreams and nightmares of material reality holographically projected upon the visible wavelength of the electromagnetic spectrum...

A bit off subject but have you ever come across the mirage pictures on the web of bustling cities that may exist in an alternate universe? Not sure where to link that one, but as for your theory I can dig it.

Yes i have read about them and i saw photos, maybe in china? and i wondered if they are "future" cities yet to be,or ghost cities from somewhere and sometime in the distant past,or are they real cities existing within alternate realities that are all around us within a different vibrational frequency and i also wondered if some of the people seen in those mirage cities were looking over and seeing "us" and wondering who we are? Did anyone ever try zooming in on them and their city with a high powered telescope or video camera? because doing that may yeild some very strange results...

I wouldn't know. But I do believe in alternate realities at least as far as the deceased are concerned.

There was a dream I had once in my old apartment where I got up from bed, oobe? Then I noticed somebody was in my kitchen cooking breakfast and then it gets weird cause I was dreaming and had a sense of fear come over me or a sense of WTF? and like spiderman I clanged flat to the ceiling and just observed. I could not see who was in my kitchen though as it was obstructed by a wall. All I could do was hear the sounds of cooking in the kitchen.

it is very hard to tell many times. am i revisiting a place i've been before, or is it just a sense of deja vu? personally i'll have the same dream 4-10 times with slight differences each time. while i'm dreaming i usually don't realize i've been there before, but when i wake up i remember all the little differences between the dreams. on rare occasions i will realize i just dreamed the same dream and then become lucid and aware at that point.

Animals dream as well,i have seen our dog numerous times laying on his side on the floor or rug asleep, making exasperated noises and heavy breathing while all four of his legs are moving back and forth like he's running...amazing...and we dont "really" know what dreams are...
