As I've posted before..it usually doesn't.They almost always fail.Of course it depends on the job and all that.If you know anything about affirmative action then you know what you just said is true.They get promotions based on thier skin color,even if they're not qualified for it..Atleast that's how it works here in America.Don't know where you're from.

Funny.....I've never been part of a company that promotes based on affirmative action! At most jobs I've worked common conversation was "how come all the black people are in the lower echelons of the company, while the upper echelons and office work is done by whites?"

Alot of the problem is based in myths some whites have regarding what blacks receive.

I've read some ignorance on this thread where people think that black people will receive food stamps quicker than whites based on race, or only blacks receive free tuition. All of this is false and ignorance...if anything since blacks may have had to partake in these things longer they know HOW to correctly apply!

As someone said, whites can't really be discriminated against because they are the majority and OWN everything. How can you be discriminated against in your own house?

Whites who feel discriminated against are actually done so by other WHITES! For whatever reason they have been ostracized from the whites that benefit from WHITE IS RIGHT and thrown into the same slums as the minorities.

Compare it to a police officer who crossed the shield and is now in prison with the same prisoners he previously arrested. Of course he will have it rougher.

You whites who feel discriminated against...LOL...what has YOUR family done/not done, to get you thrown in the dungeons with the other prisoners?

Honestly, I think racial relations today are better than they've ever been here. I highly doubt whites are being discriminated against, at least not any more so than the average minorities. Society has been progressing toward equality and we're getting there. There's still a few kinks in the system. I mean, the people polled in this were people in predominantly rich, white schools, that have mostly had privileged lives and honestly probably rarely encounter a black person. So their definition of a black person is what they see on TV, with a lot of the stereotypes. I do feel that affirmative action has run its course and is no longer necessary. We have a black president now, that should show something about equality and how far we've come with it. Any person can achieve anything they want if they put their mind to it and work hard regardless of their ethnicity.

This is all a true statement OP. I work in public housing as an asset manager, basically I am surrounded by black (yes, its ok to call them black you PC nannies) people - I over see 290 units only 2 of them contain white people. I am constantly bombarded by racial slurs like 'white boy' and accusations of racial discrimination because I terminate their lease for lack of rent payment. If the roles were reversed, people would ignore the fact that the person is black and not even mention it. In order for there to be actual change black people need to erase the concept of the white-black paradigm while whites need yo erase the black-white paradigm. Sadly I don't see that ever happening, there are people on both sides which are to ignorant to try.

It makes my blood boil. We MUST be able to discuss racism [or perceived racism] without being silenced. Up to this post all I read was a good discussion about an issue that is important to us white people. There is no racism here, just the opportunity to say what we have to say. However the reaction above is exactly what we have to deal with.

I will never thought in my life that I will live to see this around me in my 51 years of age, but yes here in my neck of the woods in Ga as a minority Latina Female I thought all my life that blacks were the ones to have the short hand of the deal all the time

But alas my husband a marine at a time took our family to duty station in Ga here for the first time in my life I seen that majority of population were blacks and in top of that the ones complaining about been passed over and favoritism and racism against to were the whites.

I have been already 17 years in the south of Ga as my husband retired here an work here and I can say with honesty that yes Whites at least here in my neck of the woods are discriminated over Blacks as most of the city positions and positions of power are held by majority blacks

There is a lot of both race and class warfare going on since 08. My take on things. But yes, definitely reverse discrimination against whites is a pernicious scenario. No one really talks about it, but there are quotas in business and education. If I put caucasian on a job app. I'm pretty sure someone else will get the job. at least in the very diverse city I live in.

I'm going to make something crystal clear here, I am White and make NO apology for being so, nor do I think It's racist to be pro-white. I have seen how the government has acomidated ILLEGAL aliens and how they have turned neighborhoods into basically crime infested blight. I have also seen generational welfare recipiants or those on SSDI or food stamps as a Career. Work should be the merit for advancement, but it isn't and the collapse of the US is just around the corner due to shiftless entitlement minded people and races intent on not working but receiving government funding or paychecks monthly. It is not just tuition, it is admittance at all, or the job interview. In my town the minorities will fill the job positions before a caucasian.

I remember when I first moved here, I was shocked when the pharmacist spoke to me in Spanish before addressing me in English. Coming from a city mostly black, white, and Asian, this was s big surprise for me. I have since come to realize some basic truths about reconquista and other issues. This is one of the most ethnically diverse places you can find, but partly because of the theme parks, so many people come from everywhere.

Im not sure how it works in states, but in Canada it goes by education/experience to get a job. I work in a pharmaceutical Lab and it seems that certain race like certain environement to work in..

for example, all the chemists and research scientists are either brown(indian and south asians) or Eastern asians(chinese, etc), im being one of the stated above, i have seen few white and black people come into work in the lab. In our lab there are about 60 chemist/analyst/research scientist, 30 of them are Eastern asian, 20 are south asian and the rest of the 10 is either white(including european/slavic/russian) and black(actually 2 black).

Most of the white chemist, especially, North American born do not like to do lab work, they all move up to office work, with other accountants and specialists (which also includes a lot of south asians). The managers just hire brown or asian for lab work now a days because of what previous white worker did, and they hire mostly white for office work.

The CEO, Senior director, are both white, this is a 16.1 Billion dollar company.

That depends on the population. In the Virgin Islands whites are discriminated against by the local governments, utility companies and the powers that be. Here in the US most places and governments and businesses are dominated by whites and so other minorities are subtly discriminated against. If you live in an area where it isn't then the discriminated against are always going to be your minority (out of power) whether that be black or white. The country is drawn up and divided along economic lines with areas for the rural poor. The poor are the most discriminated against class, followed closely by women and elderly. IMO - Withholding education is the worst form of discrimination there is.

A truly compassionate person was Gautama Buddha, who gave up his princely title and became an ascetic and a monk after seeing the poverty outside the palace. He did not say the palace had to give it's riches to the poor, he just sacrificed his title to find truth and an escape from the wheel of rebirth. He sought to eliminate the caste system which was to keep people in their place without any way to change it. Today, the social engineers feel that it is their right to force social and economic justice upon others whether they deserved it or not.

Whereas Gautama Buddha sought to help people out of their karmic circumstances forced upon them by society, today's socialists seek to force the values of the State upon individuals, regardless of their karmic circumstances.

The above is my own observation and my own opinion and I'm not saying I'm right, but so far this is what I have recently noticed.

All this chatter on the subject of "are whites discriminated against?" made me create an account on this website just to post on this thread. I for one am a 33 year old white male who has been discriminated against my whole life. I was born in Denver Colorado, but raised in Southern California, and some of my earliest memories are of being run down my Mexican kids after school and being beet up because I was white. I can't count how many times I have been called "Cracker" by the blacks or "Wedo" by the Chicanos. I've also personally experienced loosing work to Hispanic co-workers because either I couldn't speak Spanish, or because my skin isn't brown. I live and work in North Denver now, a heavily Hispanic area. They say the Hispanic population is only 26% here, but that's a load of BS, because the census does not account for illegal aliens. but when you walk into your local Walmart and see maybe 1 or 2 white faces, and everyone you pass is speaking Spanish it shows that those demographic statistics don't mean s#*t! Furthermore the "Mexican Grocery Stores" like the Avanza or the Leborio don't cater to English speaking whites. Yes, we can go buy from these stores 'cause Mexicans aren't racist against money, but nothing is displayed in English. Yet you go to your local Target and everything is in both English and Spanish out of courtesy, but no courtesy for white people!
I have been all over the nation and lived from Southern California to Kentuckey, and have been to Mexico several times (which is a dump if you ask me), and I have noticed a trend in the white community in concern to racism. One of the largest enclaves of racism in the nation is Southern California. Heck I met more Neo Nazi Skinheads in Oakland and LA than I met Klan members in Kentucky. I've noticed that when you live in an area that was built by whites and was once a clean, respectable neighborhood, and you personally watched it over run by illegal immigrants, who have no respect for white values and culture and simply wish to exploit what your people have built, and not add anything of value to the culture, you have no problem calling yourself a racist or even a white supremacist. But if you grew up in one of those white communities and remained sheltered from the harsh reality of migratory invasion, or been in contact with an impoverished welfare community happily existing on entitlements, been witness to the way these people live without "common" respect or decency you are far more likely to become a bleeding heart liberal going out to save the whales and children in Africa by making your donation.
So why is it that so many white people out there are afraid of the word "RAACIISMMM" ooooooohhhhh. They are afraid of the word, because they have themselves been demonized within their own country, and to be associated with this word would make them pariah. But what constitutes one being called a racist in this society:

1. If you express pride in your heritage as a western European white, you might be called a racist, though blacks and mestizos can do this without any negative cultural effects, and are in fact encouraged to do so with things like "black history month" or organizations like La Raza, which translates as "The Race" in Spanish and is a violent society of Mexicans possessed by the notion that the descendants of the Aztecs are the master race, and actively seek to take over the southwest USA, to establish an enclave of Mexico called "Aztlan"...but its all just pride...right?

2. If you point out the racism of someone belonging to another race, you might be called a racist, even by other white people. This fact is so ridiculous as to be laughable. White people have been so conditioned to be anti-racist, because of their fear of being called the boogie man, that they have even become racist toward themselves! But its OK for other races to be racist, and have there own TV channels, there own stores, there own inclusive organizations, heck...even there own month!

3.If you express your desire to live in a predominantly white community, you might be called a racist, Yet black people, Hispanics, and Asians go out of there way to separate themselves in Black communities, Hispanic communities, and Asian communities...Everyone does this either consciously or unconsciously, that's why we have things like "china town" and "little Italy". birds of a feather flock together...unless your white!

4. Here's a big one...If you express doubts or the desire to look further into the official story of subjects like the Civil Rights Movement, World War Two, The Civil War, or even real archaeology concerning the forbidden history of ancient white migrations..., then you might be called a racist. Its not OK to be simply a truth seeker if you are white, especially if you confront "forbidden subjects".

I can go on and on siting facts of a double standard in America, but unfortunately most white people are to programmed!
