We are an Oligarchy,not a Democracy and we have been for a long time...

Oligarchy is a form of structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people.These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, corporate, or military control. Such states are often controlled by a few prominent families who pass their influence from one generation to the next... en.wikipedia.org...

Plutocracy is rule by the wealthy,or power provided by wealth.The combination of both Plutocracy and Oligarchy is called Plutarchy...en.wikipedia.org...

So in fact the USA is a Plutarchy,not a Democracy,Freedom is a spoon fed,media induced Lie and the best slaves are the ones who are told to think they are free...

You are correct, that is what we are. However we are still told constantly that we are a "Democracy" and we were never designed to be either. As I stated as well as many others have, we were designed to be a Constitutional Republic.

I firmly believe that the idea of an Oligarchy is exactly what Madison was warning us about in Federalist #47 when he referred to "factions" in government and the dangers that controlling factions would have for the republic. The only reason that we have become and Oligarchy is because of the people and our general lack of interest in our duty to govern the government. It is also due to the fact that the people have forgotten the "serve during times of good behaviour" statement that was written in article 2 of the constitution concerning when elected representatives could serve.

We have become complacent as a people and have allowed way too much malfeasence to take place within our government and have thwarted our responsibilties and now we are paying the ultimate price which is the loss of control of our government and the loss of our soveriegnty from government. Those ideals have been replaced by government power over the people and the institution of soveriegn immunity of government from the people.

I usually just tell people that I feel we now live under a quasi-despotism system in that the government itself is the ultimate despot because the government has became so large that it has almost became its own entity kind of a collective consciousness of all the ill hearted representatives. However in trith we are living under an Oligarchy and nothing short of full blown revolution will change that, if revolution is even able to.

A Democracy operates on the idea of majority rules. A Constitutional Republic protects the rights of the few against the wishes of many. Democracy is not our form of established government. And it never should be.
