Report of Arab League mission to Syria contradicts Western propaganda

www.wsws.org

The full report is published on Global Research. Its finding are a devastating indictment of the efforts of the United States, France and Britain, working in collusion with the Gulf States and Turkey, to fuel a civil war and prepare the way for the installation of a pro-Western Sunni government hostile to Iran.

This artiicle is saying that the US-aligned Gulf monarchies, had to be terminate its own observer mission suppress and squelch its report. Assad has complied and the so called 'free Syrian Army are terrorists.
Most of us can see that the tired US regime thinks it can fool the majority of the public just like they did with Libya but its hard when the western propaganda machine is so relentless.
I am glad to see Russia warning the West to mind their business.
Its clear that Syria will not be like Libya.

great find. This is the sort of thing people will scream at our grandchildren as they pay retributions to the world for years of terrorism. I keep thinking of the walk of shame the Germans had after WW2 aimlessly around their broken country. WTH are we thinking. This will haunt our descendants for generations.

Good thing our wealthy are making the cash now, surely they will spend some of it on our PR- I mean we pay the price we get the rewards right. People will thank us for all the death and destruction being done in our name. UK, US, etc, we are the good guys right. We are doing "good".?

I agree. When its all said and done what will the History Channel tell our kids about this time in History.

I wonder if we(the west) will be the ones telling the story

...wait. What makes you think it isn't the Arab League report that is propaganda?
Seems to me like the nations involved would have a vested interest in ensuring that yet another middle-eastern government doesn't fall...

Now, I'm not suggesting that there isn't any Western Propaganda (far from it), but it's a little naive to think that it's a one-sided affair.

Note: the source says it all. "World Socialist Web Site".

Where did this 'report' come from?

The reality, however, is that to make the case for regime change in Syria, the League, currently chaired by Qatar and politically dominated by the US-aligned Gulf monarchies, had to terminate its own observer mission suppress and squelch its report.

The report was suppressed because the 166-member observer mission found that violence in Syria was abating, the Syrian government was complying with most of the Arab League’s requirements and the ruling Baathists were faced with an armed insurrection. Qatar, along with Saudi Arabia, played the instrumental role in burying the report, and cutting short the mission, because they are arming the opposition forces and arguing for direct military intervention to depose Assad.

The full report is published on Global Research.

The convenient explanation as to why the report isn't available on the Arab League's site - not even in Arabic - is that it was "suppressed", "squelched" and "buried". Even more convenient is their failure to explain how several dubious websites have from somewhere acquired an English translation of it.

considering the way the western media has lied and fooled others,I wouldn't trust a single lie of the western BS media.

The report on Syria:

vridar.files.wordpress.com...

The propaganda war initiated by western media:
www.bbc.co.uk...

As usual the british propaganda appartus is in full swing, like how they the british and americans call genocide 'civilising the savages' .

Other sources published this in late January and the URL indicates that the above was posted in February, so it can't be the original source.

I never noticed it before, but the people from Syria that they interview, speak perfect English. Slight British type accent.

Does everyone learn English at an early age? They speak it as though it's their normal language.

Yes there are lots of people in Syria who speak perfect English. President Assad himself speaks it and is very articulate.
