I believe it's a state matter, and the SCOTUS has no say in it. If it were otherwise, there would be uniform laws and rules for getting on the ballot in all 50 states, dictated by the federal government, and that's not the case.

This has been a controversy for over 100 yrs as to what defines a natural born citizen but there is no law saying BOTH parents have to be American as long as one was and the child was born in the U.S. or it's territory.

Lawyers for those pursuing the challenges recently issued a subpoena for Obama to attend the upcoming hearing. Obama’s legal team filed a motion to quash the subpoena, but [Deputy Chief Judge Michael] Malihi declined. In his order, Malihi noted that Obama’s legal team had argued that no president should be compelled to attend a court hearing.

“This may be correct,” Malihi wrote. “But [Obama] has failed to enlighten the court with any legal authority.”

Obama’s court filings fail to show why his attendance would be “unreasonable or oppressive” or why his testimony would be “irrelevant, immaterial or cumulative,” the judge wrote.

Some were afraid of him.

Some were covering for him because they liked him.

Many people were just not paying attention and assumed that someone was responsible to check him out.

I think what happened is they randomly and finally found a judge that reads the constitution for fun.

That and GA is not happy about the whole dragging them in to court over the new immigration laws they wrote.

Don't people understand that Obama refused show up because its laughable. And don't people also get that if his lawyers thought for one split second that this had any credence, one of them would have shown up? The point is, if Obama were to show up and defend himself to this, he then legitimizes it. This whole thread was based on a blog, not fact. And should be amended as such.

Obama was probably laughing about this when some young intern traveling with him to Vegas read about it on the internet.

As I have quoted SEVERAL times in this thread this report comes from those that were INSIDE THE JUDGES CHAMBER prior to the courtroom hearing and the report DIRECTLY from a person who was in the judges chambers is this-->

The Judge pulled the lawyers for the three cases into chambers before it all began and advised them that he would be issuing a default judgment in our favor, since the Defense council failed to show, and wanted to end it there. We argued that all the evidence needed to be entered in to record so the Judge allowed for a speedy hearing where all evidence was entered into the court record. What that means is this… Any appeal, if one is even possible, would be based on the evidence provided by the lawyers in each case. Both Van Irion and My lawyer, Mark Hatfield made certain that our cases and evidence in those two cases would be closed so as not to be affiliated, in any way, with “Birther” Orly Taitz. As expected, she was an embarrassment.



Now we’re merely awaiting the publishing of this Judge’s ruling which, as previously stated, will be a Default Judgment.

In other words…we won. Now it’s time for the rest of the States to take my lead and duplicate this effort..

The judge has decided. They are awaiting the PUBLISHING of the judges decision.

Are a small percentage of Americans who dislike President Obama racist? Most likely, but not verifiable. The only ones we know for certain are racist and against Obama are a certain section of the Tea Party. Are there also racist blacks who vote for Obama simply because he happens to be black? Of course. Remember back when a Howard Stern staff member went to Harlem and asked why black Americans were voting for Obama? None of those interviewed had any idea. The interviewer switched McCain's policies for Obama's, and they agreed with them.

But am I a racist for disliking Obama? Just as much as I'm racist for disliking most politicians, and politics in general. I'm a West Virginian, and my state went towards Hillary Clinton when they were running against one another for the Democrat nomination. I could armchair analyze and call them all racists too, but I have no proof, thus it wouldn't make it any truer.

Passing off dislike for Obama as being a racially charged one is not only ignorant, it's an absurd statement with no logical basis in any truth.
