Clip from the Kevin Smith Show....have never heard of this case before. The undisclosed source says that back then they called them "enemy helicopters" and not UFO's....interesting.....

When a USAF General says UFOs battled USAF fighters in Vietnam on two occasions, and major media is present but refuses to report it, that is a cover-up. Why would the media do that? Did someone order them to not report it?

Just because he was once a general does not mean he is not a fantasist. I find it hard to believe that any craft capable of traversing the universe would have any problems wiping out our primative aircraft, ket alone there being a battle. A battle suggests that both sides were evenly matched. I don't even need to watch the video to know this is BS.

Amazing. No matter how reliable the evidence, the skeptoids and deniers always have an excuse for the denial.

If the picture is clear, it is too clear and probably a hoax.
If the picture is fuzzy, then it is of no use.
If a civilian reports a UFO, they are not trained as an observer.
If a cop reports a UFO, they are not trained to identify aircraft.
If a pilot sees a UFO, they don't say anything because they want to keep their jobs.
If a former general reports a UFO, then we toss all of that out and say there is no reason why generals are any different from anyone else.

The system is geared to deny. Like 'Whack-a-Mole'... there is always someone waiting to knock down any report with whatever it takes... denial to character assassination; it's all in the ammo box.

It is not an unnamed source, it is a highly credible source, it was General George Scratchley Brown, a little from his wiki page

George Scratchley Brown (1918–1978) was a United States Air Force general who served as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In this capacity, he served as the senior military adviser to the President of the United States, the National Security Council and the Secretary of Defense. Through the commanders of the unified and specified commands, he was also responsible for executing the decisions of the National Command Authorities regarding worldwide readiness and employment of combat forces of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.

Wiki

He states there were two battles, in the first, an Australian Destroyer class ship was hit and took damage, this was reported in a press conference, but the press (including CBS) never broadcasted the information

The problem with this however is, there is nothing to confirm this, no date for the press conference, nor location. nothing to back up the claims being made here at all, its like me saying Obama told the world he had a meeting with aliens in press conference, its just BS without more to back it up.

Perhaps is any of our Australian friends know of any Destroyer in the area at teh time that took some damage we could look into it more

You should leave the "ket" alone... Its narrowing your mind.
