Everyone nowadays blames big government for everyone's problems. Big government is full of government employees, civil servants, that don't make a lot of money (average yearly salaries and little to no glory). The problem in government is corrupt politicians, but why? BECAUSE the REAL problem is that corruption in government is pushed for by private interests. These private interests lobby government with large investments during elections, in secret and under the table so that elected officials support policy and law to help these private businesses. The Federal Reserve is linked to BIG private banks. The FDA is linked to BIG food and drug companies. Both the FDA and the Federal Reserve operate corruptly. No one would dispute this, but the question is why?? BECAUSE OF BIG BUSINESS!! BIG business is the problem. With extreme wealth there cannot exist democracy because people can be bought with extreme dollar values (most will sac-cum to instant wealth). The lobbying and influencing of politicians and government employees through bribes - even the ones that are legal. Shockingly, they also lobby and influence the public in general through expense ads that appear to be in the best interest of the people but actually are in the best interest of BIG business.

Over the last 100 years ago many cities had streetcars systems (General Motors streetcar conspiracy), but after a lot of lobbying many municipalities, and the public in general, decided to privatize there systems and sold them knowing and/or unknowingly to BIG oil who then ripped out the streetcar systems and replaced them with cars that consume oil based gas and drive on oil based roads. What most people don't understand is that public systems should exist in favor of the people, BUT private business like all BIG businesses only favor interests that help themselves. A clear separation has to happened and corruption be severely limited.

Obama brought in healthcare for all Americans because the majority of Americans didn't have it or were in desperate need of healthcare. Obama's interests were for aiding the people and especially the poor. He knew BIG business could afford it, but the rich and corrupt Republicans had already screwed the system making his presidency extremely difficult. Of course Obamacare, affordable healthcare for the poor, didn't sit well with most insurance companies and private hospitals especially BIG insurance companies and BIG business hospitals including doctor associations, so they went to the air with expensive ads (money that could be used to help the poor) presenting that Obamacare was not in the best interest of the people, AND no other affordable alternative was offered. In Canada healthcare is free and they're not have the serious debt as the US. They survived the economic collapse better than most. Why? Because they control BIG business, and BIG business in Canada is still much more socialist than in the US. In fact most modern G8 countries have free healthcare in one form or another. The US have millions of people dying because they can't afford healthcare because the US has become over run by BIG business.

BIG business fooled the general public to turn against Obamacare using reverse psychology in their ads.
BIG business lobbied for free trade with poorer countries
BIG business is selling American jobs to foreign countries just to make even more money
BIG business lobby for laws to restrict competition
BIG business lobby for licenses, designations and permits as means to restrict competition
BIG business lobbied for PATRIOT Act, Indefinite Detention Act (NDAA) and SOPA restricting freedom
BIG business bully by using lawyers to sue little guys, mom and pop shops, daily
BIG business achieved the American Dream and are destroying it for everyone else
BIG business brainwashes you to believe that helping others for FREE is bad
BIG business don't care about you unless there's money in your pockets
BIG business have successfully made everyone believe that big government (full of average civil servants) is the problem by using reverse psychology

Civil servants (employees - those getting fired) don't to get hired by government because their thinking it will make them rich. Most go work for government because the pay is equitable and fair but primarily because they believe in helping others as servant of the public.

In contrast, MOST politicians run for government because they know they can make BIG money from BIG business by controlling policy. Politicians are the problem. This day and age we don't need politicians anymore. With the Internet, all American's can promote their views online and then vote online and action things like bills, spending and wars. The people should be in power not the middlemen politicians. Politicians are relics from a time when communication was limited between regions. This is not the case now, so they should go. It would remove most corruption. All government should be is an administrative action doer - following the orders of the public through online voting.

WAKE UP PEOPLE! BIG BUSINESS IS THE PROBLEM! SEE PAST THE BULL!!

Actually, I beg to differ. Over the last decade or so, government salaries have risen so quickly, that they earn significantly more than those in the private section.

www.usatoday.com...

Federal employees earn higher average salaries than private-sector workers in more than eight out of 10 occupations, a USA TODAY analysis of federal data finds. Accountants, nurses, chemists, surveyors, cooks, clerks and janitors are among the wide range of jobs that get paid more on average in the federal government than in the private sector. Overall, federal workers earned an average salary of $67,691 in 2008 for occupations that exist both in government and the private sector, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data. The average pay for the same mix of jobs in the private sector was $60,046 in 2008, the most recent data available.

Furthermore:

These salary figures do not include the value of health, pension and other benefits, which averaged $40,785 per federal employee in 2008 vs. $9,882 per private worker, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

You're taking the stance that it's a problem their getting paid more fair wages with benefits compared to private industry. I SERIOUSLY question why private industry has reduced compensation for employees over the years by reducing and taking away benefits and lower wages especially compared to the cost of living. Government should not be a business and they decide how much to pay civil servants based on the cost of living and supply to needed skill levels. Those with higher level of skills, meaning there are fewer over the general population, get paid more, but if a position requires a skill level that is common over the general population, the pay is based solely on cost of living - A JOB REQUIRING FULL TIME HOURS WHILE IT'S PAY IS GOOD ENOUGH TO LIVE OFF REASONABLY vs. A JOB YOU WORK 8 HOURS/DAY AND THE PAY BARELY COVERS RENT!

REMEMBER: BIG business own those News agencies and companies claiming that government are the problem by cleverly skewing statistics (actual or manipulated) in the favor of this bias - favoring private interest. Why don't these News agencies write about how screwed the income vs. cost of living has become in the US and how screwed the average employee has become over the years by private interests in reducing benefits to nothing, reducing wages to virtually nothing, and how these businesses, their CEOs are making more and more money than ever before (x186 times more over the average employee up 500% from 20 years ago).

You see, we have to look at the BIG picture and not why my neighbor makes more money than me and how that makes me jealous against my neighbor. Ask why your employer isn't paying you the same!! Most employers have the money - their CEOs don't need ENORMOUS paychecks - give it to the little guy so he'd have incentive to work better and be more loyal. Greed and a SERIOUS lack of ethics is destroying the foundation of the US. Crooks and murderers (directly and indirectly) screw people all the way to they top of the wealth game and the people left behind idolize these monkeys. WHY???????? They're bullies, a--holes and hypocrites. They're not enlightened or evolved. They're gamers running on a cancerous and unnatural version of basic instincts Democracy in Animals. Some state to be Christians with Christian ethics but all they truly believe in is screwing the next guy for his money.

It's time we unite in union against the rich private interests (your unethical employer and/or corrupt politician) who year after year sell off our jobs to foreign countries, who strip away our benefits, who reduce our wages or simply lay us off when they are still making millions and billions of dollars, who lobby for laws and policy that screw millions of people by reducing competition, who induce scarcity so demand will increase so they can increase their profits! Why?? So they can strip away a few extra dollars from you! They don't care if you're dying in the streets hungry and sick!!!! They label you "losers" because to them life is a game and brainwash everyone else to think the same because you're one less expense to them. LIFE IS NOT GAME!! I can turn off my XBoX or restart!!

It's time we replace politicians, all politicians, with online computer voting by the public 100% for the public.

It's time to question when enough is enough!! How rich does someone need to be?? How much riches will make a biologically ordinary human happy?? 10 lifetimes of wealth? 1000 lifetimes of wealth? We only live 1 lifetime. And do you realize that wealth is limited that in order to become wealthy they have to take it away from you the little guy!

BIG business is the problem! Greed fundamentally is the underlining problem. Erosion of ethics and empathy is the extenuating problem. Hypocrisy and brainwashed delusion is our new reality.

QUESTION EVERYTHING!
WHY THIS AD?
WHO CAN AFFORD IT?
WHO MADE IT?
HOW DOES IT BENEFIT THEM FINANCIALLY?
WHO'S GETTING SCREWED?
WHY THIS LAW/BILL?
WHO WROTE IT?
HOW DOES IT BENEFIT THEM FINANCIALLY?
WHO'S GETTING SCREWED?
HOW MUCH MONEY DOES MY EMPLOYER MAKE?
HOW MANY EMPLOYEES DO THEY HAVE?
IF THEY MAKE PROFIT IN THE 100s of MILLIONS OR BILLIONS, WHY ARE WE PAID SOOO LITTLE?
WHY DON'T I HAVE BENEFITS?
WHY DOES THE CEO MAKE SO MUCH MONEY WHEN ALL HE DOES IS SIT IN THE GOLDEN TOWER?
WHO FINANCED MY POLITICAL CANDIDATE'S CAMPAIGN?
WHAT WOULD THEY WANT IN RETURN FOR CAMPAIGN FINANCING?
IS MY CANDIDATE CORRUPTIBLE? (all humans are!!)
WHY IS THIS CRISIS HAPPENING? (economic, war or otherwise)
WHO IS BENEFITING FROM IT FINANCIALLY? (sick a--holes are)
DID THEY START THE CRISIS? BY CAUSING A NEED TO MAKE MONEY?

WAKE UP!! THE WORLD HAS TO CHANGE!!!

Is that Democracy?? NO! Time to change the system! Get rid of politicians and replace them with online voting for the public by the public!

I'm not taking any STANCE. I am merely stating facts. I have no opinion on those facts. As Joe Friday allegedly said "Just the facts, 'mam". Survey after survey shows that the average government worker far exceeds public sector workers in BOTH salary AND Benefits.

Then I apologize for thinking your statements favored anti-government sentiment.

In a country with millions and a world with billions of people it does take a lot of organisation to make things work. Wither or not corporations are good or bad, they are here because they work. Yes there is a lot of problems with them but they are providing a roof over you head, power for the lights and food on the table. They are not working for everyone, but are an important part of every city.

It was a role of government to look after the issues where money created too many conflicts of interest, like law, justice and promotion of standards. With the power of creating money taken away for governments, the ability to overcome the influences of money in decision making is diminishing and looks all together lost in some situations.

Corporatism is not bad in concept, but the reality is far different. Humans are animistic and they drive corporations in the same fashion, but what is now apparent are that corporations are also cannibalistic by committing actions that adversely affect their clients, the public, just in order to make more money (short term gain). We cannot rule ourselves democratically when extreme wealth arises from corporate dictatorship and can trump public interests essentially forming a dictatorship over the public system. What is bad is the self-interest of corporations that can influence political decisions and adversely affect the vast majority to favor limited private interests. The true problem is that corporations are driven on private interests, not public, and they will use all means possible to favor their interests including control of government policy - this is FACT. In the US, and the world, corporations are allowed accumulate wealth to unlimited extremes, but no corporations is expected to have any civil responsibilities. Even individual "natural" humans have civil responsibilities, why not corporations?? I believe the wealthier you are, the more civil responsibility you should take on for the health of the nation and the world.
