Bunch of control freaks.

Three Leading GOP Presidential Nominees Pledge To Be Tough On Porn

Last October, Morality In Media (MIM), the “leading national organization opposing pornography and indecency through public education and the application of the law,” launched an effort to get presidential candidates in both major parties to commit to strict enforcement of obscenity laws. In both face-to-face meetings and written statements, three candidates made this pledge: Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum.

When MIM’s Executive Director Dawn Hawkins asked former Speaker Gingrich if he will enforce existing laws that make distribution of hard-core adult pornography illegal, he responded: “Yes, I will appoint an Attorney General who will enforce these laws.”

I'm sure these 3 are into weird sexual stuff themselves for being so anti-gay and anti-porn. This type of people always are.

Hell there's dozens of example in the last few years of republicans being very anti-gay... being gay themselves...

And on Santorum who honored pedophile Jerry Sandusky for ``his work with children`` in 2002 :

I'm sure this is a sick inside joke from these bastards and they all knew what was going on. Remember that you don't get that far with the MSM pushing you if they don't have something on you.

Anyway, that's for another topic, there's already tons of threads about this on ATS. For example :

I wish the government would get out of our bedrooms! A persons religious or moral beliefs should never be forced on anyone . period. Its not like these guys NEVER watched a little dirty, among who knows what else they do. Like you said most people very outspoken against it usually are hiding who they really are.

This brings to mind where some video I saw showed congressmen or senators who would spend money on $1000-an-hour prostitutes. Of course they wouldn't care if porn was illegal, they don't watch it anyway because they can pay to watch it for real right in front of them rather than on a screen. I'm not advocating or denouncing porn, but who the hell do they think they are?

Pretty soon existing is going to be illeagal.

These liberty and freedom hating control freaks will one day make masterbation illegal, you just watch!!
Ohhh I hear ya now chuckling.

But I am dead serious.
I have recently discovered something.

Ever ask yourself how much money is enough for these people??
You'll quickly come to the realization that there is no amount of money that is just too much for one person to have. These people will just want more. it is human nature.
If you had a million dollars surely you wouldn't turn down another million would you????
What about a hundered million?
A billion??

Same is true for power and control people!!!!
Enough is NEVER NEVER NEVER eoungh!!!!!

They will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS want MORE!!!!!!!!

Until we put an end to it and take our money, power, and control back
they will always be glad to relieve us of it.

edit to add:
If they ever do make masterbation illegal I am screwed!

ohh wait, too late, I am already screwed.

Now someone should say they will remove the tax on Porn in order to make it more accessable to the poor, and so make them happy, That might get a few votes.
Maybe these guys are REALLY into porn, you know when you are told you cant have something? what do you do and think about until you get it.
America has a huge porn industry are they saying they dont want those tax dollars'? i dont believe it.
Porn must be the only growth industry in the U.S. apart from the revenue it raises its also quite safe for the planet. No-one has to die and there is not much waste, revenue is created from a service which initially takes nothing from mother Earth.
you can try to take my porn but youĺl have to get past my hot, hard, pulsating..................

Lmao! Good on you. And as for this ridiculousness, it was to be expected. Hell I expect this and every other administration (except for RP's of course) to follow to the letter, the writings of 1984. War will be peace and ignorance will be knowledge, our past will be forged and our future dictated.

Ummmmmm, you know what... I watch it, all the time, and funny thing is I would support this!

Porn to me is a tasty temptation, but it keeps me from getting bent out of shape and having a sexual relationship with women, heck I only make $4hr after child support takes a lick from my money and I only got 3 kids of which Ive been in their lives even when they were growning in the belly.
**state ordered child support because mom is on welfare, we both work n I need the welfare for my kids too.

Noooo!!!!

Seriously, why do establishment Republicans say "less government in our lives blah blah blah".....

but when it comes to our personal lives, they are all over us?

My sex life is none of the governments business.

This isn’t trying to get into your personal sex life, if you want to have a get together with who ever fine, it just wants to remove something that is not morally sound from the block.

If you had a crack house on your block you would be all up in their business trying to get it shut down and removed, would'nt you? Ok same thing here!
