"Impeach Obama" Banner May Fly Over Super Bowl

A group of anti-Obama Facebook groups are planning to fly an “Impeach Obama” Banner over this year’s Super Bowl.

The groups, Impeach Obama Tea Party, Stop Obama Now-San Diego, and Boycott Oprah, say they recently flew the banner over the Rose Bowl Parade Jan. 2.
Whether they can actually achieve their next goal is unclear to me. I assume, given the potential for terrorism, there are serious overflight restrictions with respect to the Super Bowl.

The game will be played February 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

I really dont see this happening.
They may want to do it...but
I dont think they will have to look too far to find a reason to
keep this from becoming a reality..

I know they said they would like to do it again next year.
I dont see any mention of cost involved with this? If it is billed anything like superbowl ads then..it would be huge!

I like the idea, but we all know that if it happened, the media would most certainly make sure that it was never televised. The best bet is to watch out for tweets about it from those who are in the stands and will see it.

agreed..tweets will be the thing to watch, otherwise would never know.

Due to security reasons, they will never allow the plane to fly overhead.....

In other news... During the super bowl a small aircraft attempted to enter the airspace near the event, and after several attempts to warn them away, it was shot down. The department of homeland security and other agencies have not ruled out an attempted terrorist attack, but warn that the investigation is only beginning and could take months or longer to complete....



I wouldn't try it if I were them.

I think if it would be more entertaining if the people did an impeach obama in a wave around the stadium and then release balloons with Impeach obama largely printed on them

It would be exciting to see a remote control airplane fly the Banner in the Dome...

Why haven't the republicans impeached him yet? They hate his guts, but haven't proposed any impeachment proceedings...
He hasn't broken any laws. I'm not saying the laws are good, I think they need to be changed. But that doesn't mean he broke any laws.

On a side note, Don't try to tell me that the "Boycott Oprah" group isn't doing this because they are racist.

if nato is involved then we can surely place some patriot anti missile systems within the dome but around the playing field. I think that should keep the fly zone free from any non wanted top gun pilots.

well you never know, i mean iranian fighter pilots could launch from within the dome and attack the u.s. ...oh that sounds absurd right...oh wait, i bet if i get the appropriate media outlets on the blow horn and spin the story smart enough we can pull it off.
