Russian Satellite Crashes in Siberia; Soyuz Failure Cited [RIA Novosti] Fri, 23 December, 2011

A Russian Meridian communications satellite crashed in Siberia shortly after liftoff Dec. 23, and officials said it appeared to be the result of a Soyuz rocket failure, the official RIA Novosti news agency reported.

“Early information suggests that the Soyuz-2 suffered a malfunction during the third stage and the satellite came down in Siberia,” near the city of Tobolsk, a Defense Ministry official said.

The accident is the latest in a string of problems for the Russian space program, including the loss of three Glonass-M navigation satellites in December 2011, the August failure of a Soyuz-U rocket carrying a Progress capsule filled with international space station supplies and the failed November launch of the Phobos-Grunt Mars probe.

Ya its them sending war supplies up there, people are going to wonder why there are so many rockets. Sk ey come up with a cover. Their s&$@ is getting blow up in space. Why dont you think we havent nuclearized space yet? Benevolent aliens are preventing it, and have been for a long time. We have the tech to do it.

Benevolent aliens aside, the weaponization of space has been subject to extensive treaty regulation since space law was in its infancy.

Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies

The Outer Space Treaty was considered by the Legal Subcommittee in 1966 and agreement was reached in the General Assembly in the same year ( resolution 2222 (XXI).

The Treaty was largely based on the Declaration of Legal Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, which had been adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 1962 (XVIII) in 1963, but added a few new provisions.

The Treaty was opened for signature by the three depository Governments (the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States of America) in January 1967, and it entered into force in October 1967. The Outer Space Treaty provides the basic framework on international space law, including the following principles:

•the exploration and use of outer space shall be carried out for the benefit and in the interests of all countries and shall be the province of all mankind;

•outer space shall be free for exploration and use by all States;

•outer space is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means;

•States shall not place nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction in orbit or on celestial bodies or station them in outer space in any other manner;

•the Moon and other celestial bodies shall be used exclusively for peaceful purposes;

•astronauts shall be regarded as the envoys of mankind;

•States shall be responsible for national space activities whether carried out by governmental or non-governmental entities;

•States shall be liable for damage caused by their space objects; and

•States shall avoid harmful contamination of space and celestial bodies.

We seem to be having alot of strange objects that get explained as failed missile's lately. We are also getting an increase in UFO sightings aswell. Had me wondering, is there more to all this?

I have yet to go beyond the video in this thread, so I'll have to backtrack to see what input other members have. But here are my thoughts after watching....

The Mexico video is crap. It's a ball of fuzzy light with no frame of reference. Too little information to tell what this could be. I don't believe it to be CGI or even an attempted hoax by the person responsible for filming, because quite simply, no one would go out of there way to fake such a crappy video.

The Russia video is much better, and far from anything I've ever seen. Great clarity, great frame of reference. No idea what it could be though.

As for the Video as a whole. The author should be stripped of all right to use the internet. There is a hefty amount of story telling here... and oh god. I just realized who posted the video.... /facepalm Another wonderful piece of garbage from jcattera. I guess they came down, found him, and told him all about the portal, and traveling around the planet, and the mothership..... uhg. Seriously, jcattera is a hack fraud adding to idea that we in the community are all crack pots. Now I'm kinda mad I watched it.

For those who cannot watch video. The first part shows an orange light in the sky, which seems to 'break up' and changes to a smaller green light.. It looks as though there is some sort of 'debris' surrounding it.. The text on the video claims it is a mothership "morphing" into smaller ships..

The second part of the video shows a blue sky in Russia and what looks like a circle shaped 'cloud' or 'smoke' travelling across the sky with a bright light in the centre.
The text on the video claims this is a portal..

Like you said OP, huge assumptions on the part of the YT'er and too bad too because this looked very interesting.

if that was a mothership then the aliens need to fire the engineer who designed it, looks totally fake and boring.

They are not merely "studying" us. They are monitoring their ongoing genetic experiments on abductees, many of whom have a history of such abduction in their families that go back a number of generations. Such a study would have to extend over many years. The purpose of this experimentation is not known in detail. But it would seem to be connected with the Greys creating hybrids.
