Thank you for everything that people like you have done for our country, in spite of the fact that injustices have occurred on both sides of the board. Only one thing comes to mind when I read this thread. Here's a link to
Megadeth-Blood of heroes:

Walking stiff let me tell ya
Better left for dead
And now we are on a mission
Well it's full speed ahead
My legion's when we do the crime
Let's get one thing straight
To get there early is on time
And showing up on time is late

Ladies and gents, we're still alive
By the skin of our teeth, now it's killing time
Angel in our pocket, devil by our side
We ain't going nowhere cuz' heroes never die

Still alive
Blood of heroes
Never die
They never die

We've been run down every hill
Chased up all the dead end streets
But if you try to cut us out
You'll get a kick in the teeth

Ladies and gents we're still alive
By the skin of our teeth, now it's killing time
Fasten up your head belts,
Time to ride the skies
It's time to be immortal, 'cuz heroes never die

See, when people bash the military. Their actually bashing the government behind the deployment. I love troops, both sides. War is objective to each side, no one is truly right or wrong.

All vets deserve 2 million dollars and a house and no taxes.

I could not agree with you more.

I was a JROTC Cadet for 4 years, even went to a Military Academy, but the Military would not take me on account of my parents suggesting my doc put me on SSRI's when I was 16 (22 now, but it stuck with me even though I only took maybe one week of the stuff and stopped because it made me worse [probably because I didn't actually need them]).

Even with all that I still have mad respect for anyone in the military who isn't an Officer; they only care about their career and will do anything to advance it, even if it means screwing civilians (& fellow military members).

Yes there are some officers who uphold the oath they took but most I've met show through their actions they don't really care about it.

But myself and a sizable chunk of my good friends all respect the enlisted persons in the Armed Forces.

Just my $0.02

That is actually one of the sad truths. There are a lot of backstabbers out there trying to get ahead by stepping on people. Its actually said that you shouldn't "let your job get in the way of your advancement". Its sad really.
