China Tells Navy to be ready for war!

This is very interesting considering all the events around that region in the last few days.Maybe this is nothing, but then again this could be telling the navy that if conflict does break out they will be on the front lines.

Is China creating a mock version of Taiwan Airport to train for Invasion of Taiwan?

This isn't news, what else are they going to tell their troops? To prepare for peace? Come on, I'd be more shocked if any military force wasn't ready for war.

You couldn't be more correct, my friend. These days people are very paranoid and they misconstrue normal speeches. All heads of military branches will always call on their men/women to be prepared for action/war..that is normal. Even the motto for the Boy Scouts of America is " Be Prepared ". Now nobody gets agitated over that.
I try to live my life with a confidence that nothing dramatic will happen. If it does. it would be so fast and furious I would probably not know it.

China telling their Navy to prepare for war is the equivelent of My Girl telling her Niece...get ready for Bubble Bath powder in the tub! What Chinese Navy? China bought an old outdated carrier for training purposes only....there is no threat there.

If China had the capability to invade Taiwan...without problems...it would have done so already. All the U.S.N. would need would be two Carrier Groups and a few B-52's flying out of Diego Garcia to wipe out any attempt at a Chinese invasionanary force aimed at Taiwan...and they know it! When it comes to China making any War like statement you have four groups that all act differently within China...First you have the Hardcore...making money at every turn...Old Revolutionary Communist that demands statements like these to be made.
Second...you have the Chinese Buisness people...getting Pissed Off that these 80 Year old plus morons are messing with their Biggest Customer...the U.S.
Thirdly....you have the actual Chinese Military Leaders who are shaking their heads in embarrassment because they know the REALITIES.
Forthly...you have the average Chinese guy who is just trying to earn a living wondering if he will have a job still come Monday at the factory that is assembling U.S. designed products that are assembled in China...as a war is going to loose that needed job.

And there is actually a fifth....the U.S. Ship building Companies lobbiest who is all excited because he gets to go to Congress and say...we must build MORE SHIPS to counter the Chinese Naval THREAT...a threat that does not exist! Split Infinity
