Iam a bit torn on this one, Doctors have said he is a paranoid schizophrenic so that means he is/was poorly at the time of the killings.
I don't think he will ever be let back into society but if he is ill he should be given the chance to get better.
I think things like this should be looked at as a chance to educate everyone on the facts of mental illness.
www.mind.org.uk...
and to highlight mental wellbeing

It's an horrid case and my heart and thoughts go out to everyone involved.

should have figured..

they'll stick him in a mental ward for a couple years put him on medication.
then turn him loose to murder more innocent people.
No such thing as justice in western countries anymore.

A real cynic might also point out that this will avoid a very public trial and raise a lot of very uncomfortable questions. But, who'd be cynical enough to think that?

No they won't I don't think he will ever be released, but if he is mentally ill won't his defense plead "not guilty by reason of insanity."
If he is ill is it his fault he did it?
Not saying he should ever be let out but its just tragic for everyone involved and tragic for him for being poorly and not seeking help.

no he just isnt scared .. and did what many indiginous people want to do but daren't i know lots of skin heads that would just love to murder asians but they just daren't because they know the full weight of the law will come down on them but there will be a time when the law withdraws and the skin heads backed up by indigenous movements such as edl, ddl, and many other defence leagues will attack and kill asians just as this guy did but on a larger scale and with little if any police intervention because they will be too busy protecting banks and buisnesses from the working class the whole system is about to come down and its going to be 1 long nightmare

I suppose they will give "special medicine" and he will be trapped in his own mind. I hope that this mind of his is as evil as his doings and he will be in a living hell. No person should be allowed back in society when his/her deeds goes totally against societies ways.

Flip side of the coin, I can see a conspiracy here. No trial means that they can hide things from the public

So he has been a psycho for +16 years and noone noticed? That's abit odd. Considering how severe his psychotic state had to be in order to do what he did.

Not true at all, you can't tell if someone who is mentally ill just by looking at them and alot hide it very well and it only comes out when they either hurt themselves or others.

Damn you beat me to it, i was going to say that, but yes no costly trial and a platform for him. Better to pump him full of drugs and keep him quiet for a few years than have to address the issues he has raised.

there is never a justification for taking the life of another.
he knew full well what he was doing when he killed those people.
far too well planned and executed to have been an act of 'mental illness' it was cold calculated murder.

Another example, if not the greatest example as of yet, of when Civilized Society gets too smart for it's own good.

I TOTALLY agree that he should not spend another minute in jail, wasting money etc. With this determination by certified specialist-as deemed by their court system.

So, I believe he should be put to death---- right now. Thin out the heard. He apparently isn't able to live in our world and only wants to harm those in our world. He is an Enemy of the State. Execute him now. (and nice and slowly).

But, that's just me. So, let's ask the family members and other loved ones what they want done with him. We'll go with the majority decision (I wonder what that would be-hmmmmmm)

If he was psychotic and I have serious reservations about that!
For me he was carrying out a mission!
There is far more to this than folk realise and its got something to do with one of the victims and the rest just a smokey!!
They say that when you have nailed your target the best way to hide what you are doing is to wack at random then nobody will ever suspect your initial intentions or plan!!!

I am just raising the concern that he is mentally ill, yes he did horrid things but a mentally ill person can still be cold and calculating as anyone else.
There are many factors in the case what lead him to do what he did and one one them is his illness, so I ask you this if he wasnt a paranoid schizophrenic would he have still done the thing's he did? I guess with the years and years he will be locked up and studied we may get the answer one day.
But Iam not saying just blame the illness, he still has to be held accountable for what he did.

While at the same time the media, politicians and lobbyists use him for what it's worth in silencing immigration sceptics. Us sceptics are now officially known as "Breivik sympathizers". Divide & conquer.

Rather convenient, yes?
