Watch This Russian News Anchor Give the Middle Finger While Mentioning Obama

Let's see Diane Sawyer pull this one off

During a news broadcast on Russian TV, anchor Tatiana Limanova spoke about Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s appearance at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit. Shortly after, the anchor mentioned that Medvedev will soon take an APEC leadership role previous held by U.S. President Barack Obama. The only odd thing to note, however, is that Limanova says Obama’s name while simultaneously showing her middle finger.

You can't miss it and it certainly is not a twitch.

Hard to believe, but true...

I checked the Russian sources, and the consensus is that she had a brain freeze, and the finger was meant not for our President, but to one person from the studio crew, who was making faces or something like that. She basically lost it.

Actually, a friend of mine in college had a small/mini stroke while sitting on the couch with her roommates. She could not even speak. Pretty scary. I understand that even the power of a strong migraine can cause similar episodes.

I donno. It looks like a very unusual event... So sane people would recognize it as such. I very much doubt that a professional anchor would do something like that on purpose.

i think they all use a seven second delay.

maybe we should watch for sudden cuts to commercials and find someone in the studio that has a copy of the cut off.
