So I tried to delete some old pictures I have which I don't use and I can't delete them.
It tells me that I can't upload new images but nowhere does it tell me that I can't delete my already uploaded images.

Why can't we delete them like we could be before?
What's the point in keeping our images?

Why can't we delete pics that we upload in the new ats uploads aswell? I don't get it.

It will be corrected at one point im sure of that

Deleting Images

At present, there is no ability to delete a file. And most likely, as we further develop the system, deleting files may be somewhat limited as the expectation is that you'll be using these images in threads... and a slew of missing pictures may make some future threads somewhat confusion.

Thank's for that Ben

Yea makes sense in a way. I thought about that, just wanted to be sure.

I have like 100 pics probably contributing to clogging the system lol that I don't use.

I was wondering the same thing - thanks it makes sense.
Is there a limit as to how many pics we can have?

I’m guessing because you uploaded it, it has been used in a post somewhere, and if you delete the picture it will also remove it from the post.

I think it’s a good idea that we can’t remove pictures anymore, i recently went back over a thread and found a post a made about a picture, but the post didn’t make sense due to there being no picture.

What if I click the wrong file in my browser and accidentally upload some porn when I meant to upload my new mace cop meme? Should I alert the staff to the mistake or will I get terminated for it?

As much as I love tormenting moderators from time to time, I do have such access on another board (psychology calls it displacement) and alot of functions are available to me to perform those duties that are not available to the general user.

Yes.

For using the word 'meme'.

You mean 'meme' is overused? How delightfully absurd.

Good question.

What if I started to upload hundreds of pics every day, would that clog the system up?
Is there a limit?

I wouldn't mind knowing those things.

I can also take away your freedoms for security, just vote for me.

I'm only joking

Yea makes sense but then it doesn't. I won't be uploading more pics or contributing pics anymore until that's fixed.
I love ats, but if I can't delete pics that I upload, then I just simply won't upload anymore.

We should be able to delete our old pics, nowhere did I see when I uploaded that I couldn't delete them
If you have a big ol sign saying "EXIT", then I know that's the way out.

You can delete your pics in facebook but not ats?

same for me, I wrote to ATS several times now because of an issue that has to do with pictures. They ignore me to the fullest. No message, no email, just full ignoring of a personal problem. I hate this kind of behavior!!

When you post something they dont like, its gone in a matter of seconds. Posts of mine that had substance and information got deleted because a member thought to be offended by it. So if selected deleting is ok, why I cant delete the pictures? In some way it makes sense, but for other topics, like about animals I just dont see why this is so important to keep!

If someone posts a picture from a external source, it can be deleted and thats what I will practice from now:

Upload all my pictures to a server of mine and then add it to ats if needed. No fancy integrated pictures anymore, just anoying clicking and opening in new tabs. I recommend all people that have issues with pictures that cant be deleted, do that!
