This is the most depicable thing anybody can do to the U.S. military. How anybody has the nerve to use the military to win an election is just disgusting.

As far as I'm concerned, Bush can use whatever he wants to back him up. But you don't use the people who go head over heels to do the dirty work for America. That is total disrespect to the great people who give up everything for the people of America.

Bush needs to stop acting like he own the military and that the military are his servants. Because whether he likes it or not, the military is for defending the American people. Bush is not the only American person, nor does he have to be American.

Read all of his speechs. In all of them he brags about how he supports the troops.

And at the RNC, he mentions an Army specialist who said something Bush liked. I don't doubt the Army specialist said that, but that's a clear example of using the military to back his presidency. With that, he's assuming and trying to convicne everyone he owns the military.

If he really, truly supports our soldiers, that's great. I just wish he'd leave them out of his politics. The last thing we need is a military fighting because of their political beliefs.

So it's wrong for him to bring up people that support him? That doesn't make much sense. If the opposition is allowed to point out soldies that dislike Bush (and they should be allowed to do so, and they do do so), then Bush should be allowed to bring up soldiers that support him.

Uh....WHAT? I thought that was the reason everyone gave fdor joinging the military. Belief in defending freedom and such.

Waaaahhhhhhhh! Tell Kerry to keep whining, keep bashing Bush, and definately keep bringing up Vietnam! In fact Kerry urged Bush to "Bring it On" Well to quote a line from that same movie, "Oh it's already been broughted"

And Kerry needs to stop bragging about his military service and using it as a political tool. He is not the only one who made sacrifices.

Using the military to back him up to win the election? Hey, you haven't been listening to Sen. Kerry have you? Ask Kerry where are his military medals he recieved from service?

Your avatar depicts a baseball player. Is this you? By any chance, did you happened to get "beaned" right before you wrote this posting?

The fact remains clear. He is theirCommander in Chief and they are his subordinates, from the recruit to the Joint Chiefs. They (the military) has full knowledge they aren't his servants and Bush knows quite well he doesn't own them. Our fighting men and women would find it quite offensive to hear such nonsense. Bush would just laugh at such ignorance.

Intelearthling,

No, not all servicepeople would agree with me, that's for sure. But I'm not using them, am I?

And I could care less what Bush thinks. To me, Bush is worth as much as pebble. In other words, it means nothing to me.
