While browsing through old newspapers I came upon this article that I thought was very interesting. The description certainly sounds like a Bigfoot. Could this be the remains of a Bigfoot? To me, the article is confusing. I'm not sure whether it's a petrified body or what. The article doesn't say how it was found, unfortunately. I'm posting it here for your thoughts and opinions.

From what I gather, the people examining it weren't sure if it was a petrified body or a statue of some kind. The description is very good and does sound a lot like the descriptions that I've seen of Bigfoot.

I would be very interested in finding out more about where and how it was found. Also, I'm curious if it is still around.

Where was the Herald and Torch Light published? Was it a local paper from Colorado?

Interesting, but the newspapers of the 19th century were chock full of made up stories along these same lines.

Come to think of it, newspapers are still chock full of made up stories...only the subject matter has changed.
