So random rumors, two lights at ground zero, Niburu according to you(no actual evidence) is around. and a few other things that don't relate equals something big is coming. It seems that a lot of posts that have to deal with some event coming have the same equation of randomness. Might as well throw in a lot of contrails have been in the sky forming their "X's" too.

There isn't a day that passes when something 'could' possibly happen then 'could' possibly be linked back to some prophesy, some psychic prognostication, some variation of dates and mathematics, some incident that is written somewhere in history.

That is the major flaw in most of this type of conspiracy theory; there is no reason, no bracketing according to even the worst contrived laws of probability. We just hop on board and run like hell for the finish line, never minding that when we get there, nothing has changed.

Poor Herold Camping... a devout man of faith, walked this path and lost everything. It wasn't that he was trying to make a fool of himself, he truly believed what he was saying. But he does have that single virtue of belief whereas most here who toss out these dates and possibilities haven't researched, haven't spent an hour... much less a lifetime devoted to digging for that final moment.

The most fundamental truth that is so often neglected here at ATS is that all these items of demise... of death and destruction and Armageddon, don't have a button that we can push to make them any better. There are no Easy Buttons, anywhere. We can't stop a large asteroid. We can't stop Iran and Israel no matter which side you take. We can't stop global warming or the next ice age. And when it comes time, we can't be ready enough to survive for very long no matter how many gardens we plant, how deep we dig our bomb shelters or which God... or science, or ET that we choose to worship.

In the end, the bitter End will be the bitter end. Period. Stop.

Guilt will only play a part in justice AFTER the fact.

Well I really got a laugh on this. I'm new but have been reading post for over a year and this one really gave me a laugh.
