A different kind of stupid was the trade mark of the time. We might have gotten smarter but we have also become more stupid and more trusting in other
things today.
I think the curse is the endless stream of information accessible to us from more or less everywhere.
Media presents themselves and the people they interview as experts... we buy the crap and start peddling nonsense to those around us, using the news
from night before as small talk, agreeing that what they said must be right.
It's far to easy today to dupe us with fancy talk and endless "bite itself in the ass" rethoric where the person talking says a lot without really
saying anything and if they manage to toss in the word terrorist and nuclear a couple of times or more, then that word will be the foundation for the
next conditioning we will be fed in the morning news.
Alas it's my impression that even a lot of reporters that might have noble intentions and once really did want to be objective have gotten lost in
the lies themselves and just go along because they really have no clue what the hell they are talking about... they just know the other networks are
talking about this and therefore it must be true.
In the world today it has become the most important thing to question our leaders... and question leaders of countries who seem to be setting the list
of the day.
We cannot allow rogue western governments run by terrorists that see war as a way of profit and influence create... let me stress that word... create,
more illegal wars that only serve to ruin the lives of the people in the countries they have invaded and stolen the resources from.
There was a time when those in charge were so, for the good of us. We need those times back. We need, as a people, and as people of the world to set
the story straight. To tell those who call themselves leaders that enough is enough and we will not allow them to bully around the world forcing fear
down the throats of us, our families and the people of the countries they want us to fear.
When you see images from fx Iran, where people are chanting death to the states etc. Do you ever stop to think how they got pushed out to that point?
They certainly weren't born like that...
Do you think they got this way because they hate that you have more than they do? Or could it be that they read how countries like Israel wants to
start a war with them? And that America for some inexplicable reason is friends with the terrorist nation that Israel is?
If you read in the local paper that the guy three houses down the street wants to pick a fight with you... throw rocks through your windows. How would
you react? Would you start fencing your property up? Would you go to the store and buy things that can protect yourself and you family? Would you when
having read things like that for several years and years, be so stressed out that you yourself would start commenting with the same kind of
rhetoric?
Situations like Iran aren't that way by default... they are that way because they have been forced out there.
As a final comment... nuclear weapons. They are bad, we can agree on that. But why is it that we should get all rowdy when Iran MIGHT (NOT PROVED!!!)
have them? I seriously doubt that Iran would ever commit a first strike. I honestly think they would defend themselves rather than starting the
fight.
And remember... how many other countries have nuclear weapons?
- The US still have them... what ever you say... they do.
- Russia had them. Funny relation to the video up top. And nothing ever happened.
- North Korea
- Pakistan
- Israel
Why are these countries allowed to keep these weapons of mass destruction? Oh, to defend themselves? Well oh dear...
We have to stop these men of war... and I'm not talking about the Iranian leaders.
