Not sure if this is in the right place, but it somes up OWS into one song. It's freeking amazing so I HAD to post it somewhere, please move if this is not the current forum(it just had to do with the current event of OWS).

Brand new by immortal technique, very explicit

Lyrics:
[Sample]
You get up and howl
about America and
democracy
There is no America, there
is no democracy
We no longer live in a
world of nations and
ideologies
The world is a college of
corporations
Inexorably determined by
the immutable bylaws of
business
The world is a business
and I have chosen you to
preach this evangel

[Intro]
For all my free market,
health care-robbing
Stock-stealing, retirement
fund #in'-with niggas
# your little credit card-
scamming, jewelry-
stealing
Crack-selling, liquor store-
robbing, mother#ers
Shout out to the homies
Carnegie, OG Willy
Randolph Hearst
Farouk , Rockefeller - the
real Rockefeller
My main bitch Leona, pour
out a little Louis the 13th
Scott Rothstein, Jack
Abramoff, hold ya head
My Rothschild niggas...
LET'S GET THIS MONEY!

[Verse 1]
I spend my day pairin'
America overseas
Pension for the workers,
nigga please
Embezzlement etiquette,
private settlement
I'm better with
confederate rhetoric
From my mansion in
Connecticut
Foreclose, evict hoes out
of tenement
I twist words like a speech
impediment
I hope you got good
credit, bitch
If not, better get a new
job with benefits
While I play golf with
niggas I get cheddar with
New money buys brand
new carats
My old money bought
your rich grandparents
You got grills in your
mouth, I ain't mad at ya
I own every goldmine in
South Africa
Thanks, baby, you made
me a billion
Plus I own a building for
each one of my children's
children, that's the #
Snort coke in the whip,
Miss USA suckin' my dick
Yeah, what! # the law
cause real jail is for suckas
I go to country club prison,
you dumb mother#ers
(I am the 1 percent, #in'
bitch!)

[Hook]
You know my CEO,
corporate steeze, please
Overthrow governments
overseas in a breeze
Politicians in my pockets
for a few hundred Gs
So if I'm ever in court, my
assets will never freeze

[Verse 2]
I got a job and a house
and a bank account
When I'm out, I doubt
that's something you can
say
And if not then I'll fake
death like Kenneth Lay
Make money everyday the
world burns on its axis
While y'all struggling to
pay taxes
I'm getting my money the
fastest
Memos and faxes,
shredded up documents
Slush funds through the
corrupt continents
But they don't want me
indicted
Cause they don't want my
dirty laundry aired when
I'd fight it
Don't get my lawyers
excited
Cause what good is a law
if you can't rewrite it
I got CIA, traitors
Dictators, so # y'all
whistleblowers and haters
(SHEEEEEEIIIIITTT!)
All of this money from Al-
Qaeda
In the bank 9/11 widows
go to later
Capitalism's who I pray to,
# the state of the world
Money talks so what the
# I need to say to ya
girl
(I don't pay them to #! I
pay them to leave!)

[Hook 2]
You know my CEO,
corporate steeze, greed
I treat countries like the
IMF, down on your knees
Real gangstas run the
world, # what you
believe
I'll cut down a forest while
you niggas burnin' some
trees
I'll get your family
murdered for a couple of
Gs
Cause your working class
money ain't #ing with
me
You think rappers are rich
cause of songs you heard
My labels make the money
and have them rap the
#ing words

[Verse 3]
Yacht in the ocean,
coastin' with the sails out
Hey America, thanks for
the bailouts
I made off with the Banco
Ambrosiano
Got away scot-free like Il
Vaticano
Activists act a bitch, get
mad at me
Cause of my tax-free
charity
80 percent to the staff and
company
And 20 percent to the
homeless and hungry
The country gotta pay the
Fed Reserve
Kick back to the banksters,
haven't you learned
You protest cops or
patrols on the street
But I bought city hall so I
own the police
E-mail, facebook, and the
# you tweet
All the phone companies,
so I heard you speakin'
My suggestion is your
correction
No elections, sex with no
affection
No invention of benefit to
world of man
Will exist till I got the
money in my hand
World Bank interest rate
damn rape on the spot
But I'm gangsta, you gon'
take my money like it or
not
(I got your country in my
pocket, mother#er!)

[Hook 3]
You know my CEO,
masonic steeze, cheese
Only little people pay all
these taxes and fees
Since you were born we
control what you watch
and you read
And pretty soon we're
gonna own the #in' air
that you breathe
I take what I want, #er,
I don't have to say please
I convince you that it's
good for you, take it and
leave
You think president's are a
face of a nation
I put 'em all way off, end
of the conversation.

The rest off the mixtape is RIDICULOUS.

Oh this is off the new drop?

I used to love Tech until he responded to the "We Want Immortal Technique In Australia" facebook page saying he would personally book the tour when the page reached 5,000 'likes'. Then when it die he said it had to reach 10,000 and people complained at which he responded overly aggressive stating that the people who complained aren't "down for the cause" and "you cu**s aren't welcome at the show".

My point is, he is an underground rapper, supposedly leader of some type of big revolutionary front and man of his word. Then he plays around on FB and criticises people on their use of social media and criticising him for being a hypocrite. Jedi Mind Tricks are coming in December. They don't even have a facebook account, all I have seen is advertising through the usual Melbourne music websites and word of mouth- that's all you have to do to rock a dope, packed show. Book it, then turn up and rock the place- simple as that. As long as they hear about it, heads will be there.

Will probably only go to that show if it is under $70 and Diabolic comes with him.

It seems his ego has gotten the better of him and his rhymes seem to be simplifying.

Hmm, doesn't sound like Tech. People make mistakes though.

He was probably busy working on the 70 songs he has already recorded for The Middle Passage, or working on his orphanage project in Afganistan. Now he's doing a tore in the US and was protesting at OWS just last week. Just making the point this guy has a lot on his plate. Basically I'm not gonna stress about a mistake he made because he is just a man.

I am really happy with this mixtape. His lyrics hit you harder once you have visited 3rd world countries(not saying you haven't).

I grew up with nothing but hip hop. When I was 11 (I'm turning 23 next Friday) I was given Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers and haven't looked back.

It may have been a one off or a mistake but at that stature it shouldn't happen and especially in hip hop- your credibility is everything. I just thought it was a complete polar opposite of his whole character. By the way, I've been listening to him for yearrrrrrrrrrrrs and am well aware of what he has on his plate.

Most of his fans are only bumpin' him now that conspiracy theories are cool these days and have been listening to him for under 12 months

Actually, I retract what I said earlier, I WILL go to the show and then cast my judgement as actions speak louder than words.

Check this from Canibus in '98:

To quote Canibus himself from a track he dropped last year;

"Now everybody wanna talk about conspiracy, you should have taken Chanel Zero more seriously"

Maybe it's just because I've been passionate about hip hop for over half of my life and MC myself that I see things differently to others.

Yeah I feel ya. I've been listening to tech over five years, since I was like 13. I love hip hop too. I'll definitely check out that Canibus joint.

Oath, I wasn't accusing you of being one of those fans by the way brother nor trying to take the p**s out of you.

Canibus is fire, easily one of the dopest lyricists to ever exist IMO. Problem is e got slept on by the heads then made some questionable albums appealing more to the mainstream sound to try and grab peoples attention then have them look back on his real work. The mainstreamish albums also flopped.

Canibus albums that are nothin' but fire (my personal top3);

Can-I-Bus ('98)

Mic Club: The Curriculum ('02)

Rip The Jacker ('03)

Also, Melatonin Magik is a good listen, plenty of conspiracy and speculation in there as well as spirituality, metaphsyics etc.

I suggest getting a good Canibus mix, blazin' one and sitting back in awe trying to keep up.

Wow. He finally dropped some songs. I've been waiting a long time for this. Gave up looking for his new stuff a long time ago.
I like him because he can grab people's attention that have never heard about "conspiracy" type stuff.

He is kind of like George Carlin in the same way he says pretty harsh things, but he still spits that real $hit.

Anyways, I wonder when he wrote that song about the 1%. That song was sic wit it.

Edit: ATS won't let me star you for some reason.
