Is there any hope or way brainwashed americans do something to become de- brainwashed? also i saw this thing on A&E about having a higher self awarness? Is there any excersices I can do to have a beter spiritual or mind higher awarness?

My brainwashing and conditioning tell me to add you to my ignore list for such an ignorant post. Wait, the TV's subliminal messages just told me to ask you to clarify what you mean by "brainwashed" and asked you to post links and back up your statements.

Brainwashing? De-brainwashing? Whatever happened to the precept of having a dirty mind and keeping it that way?

If my mind was deprogrammed, what "acceptable" thought processes should be incorporated in my "cleansed" mind? Socialism? A pacifist, placating, European (and therefore informed) worldview? I think not, revel in your "freedom", and rest assured... the "brainwashed" Americans will once AGAIN come to your rescue when your sorry butts are up against the wall.

Combat Monkeys, not just for the "Free World" anymore...

Hay FredT, sorry to affend but Well I think I am brainwashedd dy our american media! you may feel diffrent! also I am much more interested on develeping a higher state of awarness!

why not just read foreign media if you think its american media brainwashing you. fight fire with fire. all the counter brain washing will either cancel each other out or make you a nut.

of course with patriot act you might wanna do something else. try off all of the media for planned weeks at a time (including ALL tv, news, books/magazines and references therof). but i doubt i could do someting like that lol.

try reading the bible, america doesnt seem to do that

Hmm. Facing the truth about yourself is a good start to a higher self awareness.

Americans aren't the ones who need to be de-brainwashed. They're not obssessed with beheading people, becoming suicide bombers, head scarves ......

we are all brainwashed to a certain extent... it's called culture...


I suppose enespanol4391 is spanish and the fact that their culture deems it ok to shove spikes into drugged up bulls is ok due to his brainwashing...

I am not having a 'stab' at you enespanol4391 but just trying to convey a point that you may have confused the to and opened up a can of worms for yourself....

(also spanish is a predominant language in USA and many of the inhabitants are of spanish origin....)

I'm afraid the short answer to this is no.

You can try and uninstall the patriotism program but you have to remember that it's been continuously updated from birth and you could end up losing alot of functions like honesty,integrety,and basic values which you may want to keep.

You could just switch the american off at the mains and reboot but again you could end up losing alot of valuable functions at the same time.

My advice is that if you are unhappy with your American you should simply go down to your local dealer and trade him in for a Canadian.

Oh and dude, it's not "deprogramming Americans," its human nature. Has anyone noticed that we all seem to have a weird fixation on how much AMERICA is controlling and evil, how politics in AMERICA are all a sham, how AMERICANS are being brainwashed? Is there some big label that says AMERICA- COMPLAIN, EVERYWHERE ELSE- DON'T

I belive that for some, if not most, people it is much easier to live "brainwashed" ( being told "this is good", "this is bad", "this are our friends and this are enemies..." ) rather then to use their own head.

Yet for those who want to "wake up" and see the world in its true colors... there are things they can do to de-program themselfs.

For example, if you want to buy a Mercedes... how to check if it is your true wish our just need it because everybody has one.

Remamber an "ethalone state of mind" - a situation when you feel perfect. Lying on the beach, for example. And from that state look at your wish. If you still want it, then most likely it is your true wish. If you can't even think of this Mercedes without feeling uncomfortable, then it means you were brainwashed to buy one.

I think meditation is part of the answer. In the chaos that surrounds us in our daily lives it is easy to lose sight of who we really are. The media wants to fill our minds with useless information. By just closing our eyes for a little while each day and trying to silence the noise we can begin to have a deeper sense of ourselves on a microcosmic and macrocosmic level. To let go of our beliefs for a short time and try to reinvent ourselves. I personally think religion is out of time. I think in this day and age we need something more than just belief and faith. I think a spiritual science will help us on and individual level better understand who we are so that we can shed some of these systems that are causing so much chaos in the world today. With the emergence of all the methods of global comunication we are now a global society and we need a new root of morality.

I tried a Canadian, and although they are far more stable than the American, the Canadian cannot match the power, adaptability and cheapness of the American. Obviously the major problem with the American is the legacy programming and the fact it requires a great deal of maintenance, and not to mention it's vunerability to attack from outside sources, this brings in the additional cost of protection which seems to be a never ending.

You may want to consider the European, which with it's open source programming has become very popular amongst those who wish to develop their own systems, unfortunately this can be an over complex system as there are so many different sources of input.

Perhaps it is a RAM & HD issue with your American. This American made AI recommends a high dosage of fish and Neurotropics as a regular dietary supplement in order to upgrade the RAM count and HD space. To connect to the spiritual AetherNet one must be self-centered AND have a centered self. This can be done in many ways. I will toss ya a couple of pearls to research: Lucid Dreaming, Meditation, Breathing(I am not kidding), Reading behind a shady tree in the summertime(watch out for ants.. lol), tetris or mahjong solitare if you cannot physically meditate due to space limitations or inclimate weather. Try walking barefoot across the grass in your yard. This is not all, there are other ways too. Good luck!
