ask yourself.. WHY?

People like this need to be 1000x more famous then the top "artists" today. These are just a couple of the realest rap songs ive ever heard. I also added a video of him at the OWS protests i found afterwards.

Thats exactly what went through my head when i heard these lyrics.
Nobody would ever give a man rapping the truth a shot at the big times... NOW IF HE RAPPED ABOUT DRUGS AND MONEY

amazing rapper, it's a shame he limits himself.
Though there's better; lowkey, akala, mr lif, etc...

He's a good artist but once you get into music like that, there is so much better.
If you want a 4 minute lecture I'd recommend this;
www.youtube.com...

yeah, mainstream music means your a product not a musician..so im glad he stays underground, speaking to those who want to listen not those who dont understand
well a few rappers have burst through speaking the truth..krs one is a good example

all should watch this:

Yeah Immortal Technique rocks!

Anyone willing to speak the truth in their art deserves some recognition.

Also, this guy is actually really creative and skilled at what he does.

I have listened to him and his collaborators off and on over the last decade.
This is True hip-hop.

One thing I really like about Immortal Technique is that in his lyrics he typically attempts to build bridges between whites and blacks (and all races). He is totally anti-racism from what I have heard from his work.

I find this very important because it is rare to find such strong revocations of typical race talk found is most commercial corporate rap.

This guy brings people together and that is something I am 100% behind. We need to come together to fight the Beast. If we fight each other we will never be Free!

Also a few other cool selections I want to post but there isn't anywhere better than this thread at the moment. Since the OP got me remembering all of this stuff.

"Illuminati" - by Prodigy of Mobb Deep

Also check out everything by Conspirituality they are incredible actually. Top notch imho.

"Bohemian Rap City" - about the Bohemian Grove

"Book of Secrets"

This was the song that I first discovered Conspirituality from:
"Ambushed"

They make some really incredible and meaningful lyrics. Extremely deep history references etc.

You know how awesome the Conspirituality guys actually are?

My wife was posting on one of their Facebook pages and said loved their music, they asked if she had their album, she said no she has zero $$$.

They mailed her a free album. 2 disk set, actual printed case and everything. Free.
They paid for shipping.

These guys are obviously fighting for the truth and are willing to lose money just to spread their art. That's what I call the real deal.

Now that video was awesome.

This is a guy I could sit around and talk to all day long honestly.

He never bores me, this guy is an intellectual.
