Are there any Atheists and other Non Christians who are aware of the Illuminati New World Order One World Goverment or is it only Christians who believe that the One World Governmant will be ruled by the Anti Christ and is foretold in Bible Prophecy ?

Interview: Michael Barkun
by Chip Berlet, September 2004

In his book A Culture of Conspiracy, Barkun writes:

Barkun writes about the spread of conspiracy culure:

"Prior to the early 1990s, New World Order conspiracism was limited to two subcultures, primarily the militantly antigovernment right, and secondarily Christian fundamentalists concerned with end-time emergence of the Antichrist." (Culture of Conspiracy 179)

There are people of many different belief systems who are aware of the NWO.
You will find alot of non-believers on this forum who know what the elite are up to.
The anti-christ does not play into it.

The Illuminati is and occult thing.
I became aware of it as a member of the Rosicrucians when in my early 20's.
There was then talk of a "United States of Europe."
Seemed like a good thing at the time.
I had no idea how complicated it could get.

The Christians do not have an inside track to this knowledge.

This somehow presupposes that Christians are aware of anything…

Atheists are aware of how superstitious religious types will make illogical connections between actual events and fantasy/mythological characters. And they'll laugh.

I would pretty much have to say that you need to be a Christian to believe in an Anti-Christ. If you're going to define it that way, it almost goes without saying. As for how a one-world government goes, you don't have need to have any particular religious background to see that such as thing is a possibility. It's happened in the past on smaller scales, so it's not out of the question. Whether or not you see it as a good thing or bad thing depends on if you think such an organization would solve more problems than it creates. And there's really no way to tell that until it's in place and we have a chance to try it out. Empires are nice, stable ways to govern. The Chinese were able to accomplish a lot with empires.

But unless somebody is religious, they're probably not going to try to define the whole World Government thing in terms of "good" or "evil." Those kinds of labels are usually only attached by people who think they know "The Truth."

I think the person who informed us most on the New World Order was George Orwell, in his famous book, 1984. Have you read it?

George Orwell was not a Christian, I don't know if he was an atheist but I would imagine that he was. Here are few quote from him on religion:

One must choose between God and Man, and all "radicals" and "progressives", from the mildest liberal to the most extreme anarchist, have in effect chosen Man.

As with the Christian religion, the worst advertisement for Socialism is its adherents.

One defeats a fanatic precisely by not being a fanatic oneself, but on the contrary by using one's intelligence.

Shouldn't one suppose the "Big Brother" would equate the CHristain antichrist?

A lot of the things the "Illuminati" are trying to push are inevitable, but the way that they could be implemented is the problem, causing a lot of growing pains to come. Unpopular decisions will have to be made. It would be easier if the people of the world were more homogeneous, but we aren't so the change that comes doesn't seem like good progress. But as for the religion of the people at the top, they probably span a few different credence, including atheism. I personally think a lot of them stem from Judaism, since the biggest shift in power in recent memory was when the Rothschilds bought Europe. I'm sure the "family" includes many high ranking officials.

Yeah...all the new age fundamentalists forget where an NWO was first predicted prophesied.

BOLO for a smooth talkin' gent to grasp total control of it. Many here will actually jump on board willingly.

This. I think your personal beliefs of god, the afterlife or the universe don't necessarily reflect your current situation of the economy and with so much data and information available it's fairly easy in a lot (not all) countries to access at least partial knowledge of the ruling elite.

The real speculation lies in just who or indeed whom belongs to the NWO or illuminati or bankers or who ever.

I respectfully disagree. I am a Christian and even prior to my becoming one, the NWO and Illuminati research led me to theistic satanism. The thing that's weird is that the people at the top do exhalt Satan or lucifer. Some of the lower levels of globalization might only see t as metaphor, but it's interesting how the funnel is wide on the onset (humanism or atheism or deistic or Catholic or enlightenment etc.) very general across the board. But as you dig, it becomes more and more sinister and from my research always led to the worship of Satan. Very strange.
