I'm Glad to be on ATS

I am from Latvia (a small country in Europe). I am glad I have found this website. I've been lurking here for a while and have found a lot of great information here. Now I am ready to participate in discussions (wasn't ready before because my English wasn't that good).

Your English is fine. On this site though, about half throw in the name Ron Paul every fifth word. Depending on context the meaning changes.

If English is your second language and it's not perfect I can forgive you.

It's when you were born and raised in an English speaking country and can't speak/write the language when I will condemn you.

Welcome to ATS, I always enjoy reading posts from people from other countries because you often get news or opinions that differ from what you would normally see. Looking forward to reading yours!

There are many many members here from many many countries for which english isn't the first language. The cultural diversity of ATS is (for me) one of the reasons I find this forum so appealing. We get news from everywhere - in real time - and very often before it hits the Main Stream Media !!

So I really hope you enjoy and mostly, have Fun !!
