Here Comes the Ultimate Gamble...

Long time lurker here, I have finally been given the opportunity to introduce myself.

Just one crucial character trait you need to know about me: I'm a skeptic, especially when it comes to the so-called ''magical stuff''.

Yesterday, I met a young girl from Oregon. Yeah, you guessed it: she believes in magic. Big time.

You know, spells and all that Harry Potter stuff.

So, to prove magic is just a bunch of nonsensical tales for superstitious rednecks (no offense), I made a bet with her:

If disclosure (I explained to her what that means) doesn't happen within the next 10 hours (countdown starts when this message gets posted on ATS), she can cast a spell on me - a spell that's going to turn me into a girl.

When she casts her ''spell'' and nothing happens (which, obviously, it won't), she will understand magic is but a figment of her imagination.

Anyway, glad to be here and I definitely look forward to reading your posts.

As for your lady friend. She clearly is sucked into the world of fictitious media magic which feeds on the "cool" factor. The "Great Art" is not (IMO) supernatural more than it based on our own psychology and science. Believe what you will but deny Ignorance.

If she manages to turn you into a person who thinks they are a girl, yet is not, would she have succeeded or failed?

I very much think you will shake her belief in magic, very interesting, however wouldnt it be seriously cool if et's did arrive in the next ten hours
