Yea the collegue's here are a fun bunch and not so uptight as far as my experiences go. I might check your band out some day if your in Amsterdam again.

I used to live fairly close to Amsterdam (20min. by car) but i moved a bit further south with my gf now to Den Haag, actually right around the corner of the international courthouse. So i don't goto A'dam that often anymore..

I'm a software programmer (WebDynpro for Java / SAP), having the 'pleasure' of maintaining outsourced developed spaghetti-code.

The positive side is I'm seen some sort of magician, as the difference in quality of legacy code and the quality of my code is measured in light-speed. Today I re-factored a bit of code (1 hour work) which improved a specific process from 330 seconds to 5 seconds.

I'm a one-eyed king in the land of blinds. ,-)

I'm a toolmaker, I design (CAD) and make (CAM) injection mould tools for a wide range of plastic components, currently freelancing for a medical device manufacturer.

What a thoroughly boring job clintdelicious..............i should know, mine is very similar! I work in construction but specifically in the sound proofing game..........for a leading player.........

Can be quite interesting though. Was in Libya last year doing airports, tv and radio stations, etc. Only did short stint though, wasn't there when it all kicked off! Back in the safety of the UK when it started there but was in regular contact with clients and friends we had made in Benghazi and Tripoli (weren't allowed to see anywhere else - had official Ghaddafi minders in the back ground wherever we went!). Had to try and arrange safe escape for our lads that were still there though and that was interesting - better than teaching anyway (previous occupation).

Have projected managed most things from conservation to aviation to IT to defence projects.

My specialism is as a fixer of problems and plugger of leaky buckets.

But there is no real call for that right now *shakes head* so am running a rotary wing SAR project. It's good work with nice people and better than a numpty back stabbing stitch you up corporate environment.

The pay isn't great, but it has its perks.
