Occupy Chicago!? Will it happen????

If this is a real event like Occupy Wall Street then in my opinion this is already proof that were not that far from a revolt.

Whatever happened with Wall Street? They still camping out there?

I might sound ignorant for saying this, but a Wall Street exists in Chicago too?

I am 41 miles from Chicago, this has caught my attention. Should I get the bat for when the crazies from the city decide to swarm the suburbs ?
Just kidding but it's the point, when did Wall street move to Chicago ?

Another rabble rousing leftist group trying to cause trouble. It won't get very far. You're not going to get a revolt in this country fronted by the commie/socialist left. They are as inept as they are deluded. I predict the Chicago cops are quite capable of handling any sort of "protest." I just wish they would use real bullets instead of rubber ones.

Wow. That was pretty harsh. The event hasn't even started yet and you wish death upon them?

I can sure think of better places than Chicago for this idea. Particularly when 'Rahmbo' is the Mayor. The C.P.D. hasn't been a fan of humanitarian ideals at the best of times, but against people who might make Rahm look bad? If the cops don't brutalize the protestors, the local hard core criminal element will. Where to next? South-Central L.A.?

I predict tthat the Chicago authorities will handle this a lot different than New York. They condunt municipal business a lot diffent there. Should be interesting to watch.

Curious to see how the "Chicago way" works out. It will be Dems on Libs if you think about it.

a friend of mine got in to a big conversation about the new york one and sais he was going to the chicago protests that are gonna happen at the end of the month. he said this before they even came out with that link

I just checked the live feed from New York. The people are actively protesting. The street is barricaded. Police are standing by.

I checked the location of Sears Tower in Chicago and it's about a block from the Federal Reserve Bank. Maybe they intend to put some heat on the Federal Reserve.

I live a couple hours from Chicago. Really tempted to go.

Occupy Chicago IS happening right now... It's relatively small but growing rapidly. We're currently on day 3.
