I have had an issue with "progressives of both parties though. It's the progressive element that has "hijacked" the democrat party and twisted it.

The media has so much control they can shape the opinion of much of society on a particular candidate. It is sad to say that our media today appears to be more of what we said the Russian Pravda Ru was yesterday, a disinfo campaign to fool the people.

Oh without a doubt, no argument here. But who does the Democratic party cater to? The poor? Disenfranchised? They cater to special interests and corporate america and are no better than their conservative counterparts. Both parties are corrupt and both parties are used for distraction and division.

Democrats don't know who they want to be.

that's it...that's all.

That's why they are losing...they don't even know w hat they stand for anymore.

But again, with the unions weakening more and more over the last 30 years....this is not a surprise.

Democrats now have to cater to corporations and big business just as Republicans do.

Corporations run this country...not the Republicans, Obama, or Democrats.

i really do wish people would wake up to the fact that the greatest enemy to the state in this country is those who think the governemnt is the ansmer to all this nations problems they are the creators so they offer no solutions

and the biggest pushers of that ideology are the democrats even tho they try to pass themselves as liberal and looking out for you.

the reality is the only thing they are looking out for is their power and their control and their manipulation of the us populace to keep them in power.

thats why they are losing.

we are a corrupt people so we will have corrupt politicans and by that extensiob means our government is corrupt

people need to focus their energies on that instead of hating corporations least they are the ones making money right now where as all the government is doing is blowing ours

when lawyers quit politics and citizens take back the country is when real change will happen not before
too bad no one has the cajones anymore to stop the madness before we all starve
but when enough people start hurting you will see real CHANGE

This is no big deal. The Democrats know exactly how to handle this from watching.

After Bush destroyed the Republican party, they slapped on that TEA Party label and just started over again. Democrats just need a catchier name that "teabagger."

As I see it the Democrats biggest issue is insecurity...uncertaintity...overly compromising. Underestimating the amount of support they have amongst the public for their core principles.

Thus they receive power, but waver on actually delivering.

The Democrats are losing due to their lack of effectiveness in delivering, not the agenda they are looking to deliver upon.

The GOPs biggest issue the opposite. Over confidence. Their recent political history is marked by rapid, loud idealogical campaigns that end with shock and suprise that the public rebuffs them at the ballot box.

Democrat support is waivering in this country because of Democrats unwillingness to go to the mat and their inability to deliver on their promises, not because the "people" do not believe in most of the Democrats agenda.

GOP support in this country is not nearly as large as the GOP seems to believe it is. They are just mor loud and more confident.

Pres. Bush was the pinnacle or confidence and moral certaintity at the expense of sttategic vision and intelligent governing.

A President with Bush's confidence and Obama's moderate strategy and intelligence would do us well, but I am not holding my breath.

Our choice is between a party that can't get the right things done and a party that can get the wrong things done.

Tough spot for the country. Lets hope the GOP grows a conscience or the Democrats grow some balls.
