Greetings and salutations

Just thought i'd come and say hi and register with a new account, have spent many weeks checking out the site and have decided after being 'banned' again from a n other site, thought I'd register for an account here, into all forms of conspiracies, lets face it if we can think it so can TPTB. looking forward to some deep and in depth issues within ATS.

My company has dynamic IP, I move from wired to wi-fi about a hundred times a day due to my job, so I got the usual 'your IP address range blah blah blah.

so you got banned just for having a dynamic ip? shame on their mess.

What does "TPTB" stands for?
I have seen this term very often in the forums but, I'm ashamed to admit that I do not know what it stands for

This reminded me of the time when I asked in a chatroom not too long ago what did "LOL" stands for...
I got a few replies that it means "looser on line" and I felt very stupid at that time
Later on someone was nice enough to explain to me that it meant "loughing out loud"
