Yes, an atmosphere indeed. However slight. Including the gaseous state of water.

But the dust is a little different. There isn't enough of an atmosphere to keep it suspended so the idea is that it is (temporarily) lifted by electrostatic effects induced at the terminator. A sort of curtain which heralds the lunar sunrise.

It is theorized that the lunar surface develops charge due to ultraviolet solar radiation; the sunlit side loses electrons, leaving a positively charged surface. The sunlit surface potential is estimated between +5V and +10V.

If Venus was as close as our moon is from us, atmosphere is the only thing you would be able to see, with your naked eye. If Mars was as close as our moon, you still could see it's very thin atmosphere unaided. The haze the person above you sees is from OUR atmosphere, not any from the moon.

This photo was taken from the Apollo 16 spacecraft in Lunar orbit. So it is not our atmosphere that is interfering with how this illusion of an atmosphere was created. Just said that the image has an illusion of an atmosphere.
And I do have 2 telescopes and our Earth's atmosphere interferes quite a bit when looking out at the moon and stars.

What say you?

Go buy an old space suit, rent a hypobaric chamber, and start hammering. See if the sound is coming through the suit via vibration. Once you eliminate that, you are dead set on proving the moon hoax.

I'm confused step 1: see if a sound vibration is coming through the suit check OK
step 2:and if it is eliminate what u are experiencing.Not OK confused now.

Maybe my mind is slipping in old age or did I miss what you were getting at.
