Anyone can predict that on the 28th something very
awesome will happen, but only for a selected few
that are 'open' enough to 'see' it. In other words, if
nothing happens you're 'blind', if *something* happens
you are one of the lucky ones.

Ever heard the story about Emperor and his new Clothes?

Ahh yes, I know that one by heart I had it on a cassette
(for the youngsters here: that's where audio was recorded
on back in the days) when I was like 5-6 years old. Was a
tape with 10-15 tales on it. The voice of the storyteller was
very eerie (then!). Think I played that tape until it was grey!

I think the emperor has new clothes. Charming they are

Oh, I was all over those, for a while.
I've been here since the beginning... I don't know if that's something to boast about

I posted this a while back (digging into the past a lot today)... it's a excerpt from a book... interesting read... some parallels.

Cognitive Dissonance: The Engine of Self-justification

I'm starting to believe the same as well. The truth is nothing but validated arguments of belief.
PS I had similiar cassette as well, now I'm reading the same tales to my kids - from those old books

Hahaha a trip down memory lane! I actually found
a digital copy of that cassette (in my language) and
the voice of the storyteller (female) took me back to
my childhood. My son however was scared by it and
only listened to one of the tales before ripping the CD
out hehehe

I'm off for my 8-hour pre-work meditation.

That's a lot of text at this time of day. Will read it
tomorrow as I obviously missed or omitted that
particular post

'Why It's Hard to Admit to Being Wrong'.
I already like the title!

My, my...
Vishnu's many arms are out in full force tonight.
(Yes, I am implying something there... and no, nothing about Vishnu)

I used way too many smileys in this post.
