This is a good example of how our corporate political whores cater to certain groups on the nation and in those groups the hard working class in the nation is not included.

People still bicker about party lines, political candidates and political figures, guess what people they all whores.

They have made laws to sell this nation and the working class with it.

Sad that we just keep bending over, applaud the political whores actions and still bend some more.

No I do not Smedley Butler. They create jobs...and they cut jobs...what moral and ethical crime have they committed?? What law have they broken??

If you had paid attention to the thread instead of going on long, rambling tangents, you would have known that this was never the point.

From the OP.

“Rich people don’t create jobs. Companies create jobs,” he continued. Politics are to blame for the “coddling of the rich” as Buffett said.

And from my first post in the thread.

I just watched Bill Maher's "But I'm Not Wrong" and he had one really poignant comment on this exact topic; the super rich don't create jobs, they create wealth.

The thread was always about the GOP LIE that the rich are job creators. As you have affirmed repeatedly throughout this thread, the rich love to get rid of jobs. They only create jobs when it is impossible to generate more wealth using the robots currently on the market. If the goal of the wealthy is to eliminate the need for labour by investing in machinery and artificial intelligence, then why does the GOP claim that tax breaks for the rich create jobs? This has never been a critique of the 'need' for competition. This has always been a criticism of the GOP's outright LYING to an underemployed electoral base that is demanding MORE and BETTER jobs.

Yeah well and the corporate whores and their little whorish political puppets are telling this lie to a nation full enough of "Joe the Plumbers" for it to take root, as they sit back and laugh and give same Joe the spotlight on their corporate whore media. See how very nicely this works?

But Smedley ..it is my point ..entirely. You are like many in politics..attempting to create a crime or moral lapse...ie..question when there is no law broken. How do you justify this??? It may not be your question or point but it is mine. And I am not going to let you get away with it without bringing up this other view and understanding.
I don't see anyone guilty of a crime here to justify your outrage Smedley. Are you in a position to hold those with which you disagree....hostage to your guilt techniques and thereby play through by default..unquestioned and unchallenged?? How does your guilt outrage differ from the usual suspects declaring racism to shakedown the system in their favor at the expense of others???

You want to talk about a lie..a deception...look at your last statement or sentence in the above quote.
How do you morally and by law ...justify demanding more and better jobs from others monies and decision making processes. Are you a hijacker?? A dictator?? You and those you attempt to emotionally stroke to gain access and control of the wealth of others?? Is this not private property? Are you against private property...or are you only against the "Privateness" of it such that it can be distributed as ones emotions dictate.
This is precisely how our current leadership crop is working. Guilt politics..but no real solutions and the public is catching on. The blame game here is not sufficing Smedley.

This Smedley is how many women and the effeminate work..they use drama and misdirection ..ie..emotions to get control of others properties..including their labors and what is earned by their labors for their disposition. This is theft Smedley. It is also how politics often works.

You are attempting to justify a belief system on the basis of a assumed guilt/victim hood without real proof..only talking points. A legal fiction..a fiction of law.

How do you intelligently justify more and better jobs from someone else's private property Smedley?? Only government can be so naturally dumb and ignorant. And I have not seen government yet be able to create more and better jobs. They are to self serving to do so. They are to ignorant of how the marketplace works to accomplish this.

How do you justify demands of someone else's private property Smedley??

And for the record..I don't put any more stock in the GOP in this economic condition than I do in the Democrats.

I think they are both lying about almost everything. And I posted this earlier in this thread...back on page 3 about money creation and how much it costs to create monies and put it in circulation. That the Rich is the government and they keep us fighting amongst each other in order to have us not understand how they are scamming the people with phony fiat monies...that they create for very little risk or cost.

Thanks,
Orangetom

That's an argument I've never really understood, "Rich people create jobs".....how? Does a millionaire one day say "You know what, I'm sick of golfing, I'm going to build a factory and provide lots of jobs for my community!".

Question, How many poor people have you ever worked for?

Everybody who ever worked in a low price shop as a sales person can answer this question with "thousands"

Feel free to chase the socialist bogeyman somewhere else. This thread is about a lie sold to the electorate by a political party that benefits from the lie. I do not pass judgement on businesses for increasing efficiency. I criticize politicians for lying to their constituents. If you want to debate another point, then you do not want to debate with me, or in this thread.

Stop...Smedley..Stop.....!!!

You can sell that stuff to someone else out here more easily and emotionally put on the puppet string..but you are going to have to work alot harder and more clearly to sell it to me. Also to others out here who can think outside of the emotional puppet strings. People who are not easily swayed by the Good cop / Bad cop technique.

Labor and politics uses this template and format over and over and over ad nauseum to the point of predictability. You can see it coming. With this bunch currently in office..it has become their stock in trade and they are using it to misdirect the plethora of people so easily emoted and controllable because they must find a bad guy around every corner to feel "Empowered."

Labor is just such an creature. I have seen to much of it in our local union.

However..I do not put that much stock in businesses as I also know that here they have hired special teams of advisers to help them break or diminish the power of the unions. And this company is not the only one doing this.

On the other hand, I am not one to put alot of stock or faith in Politics as well. For I know that their stock in trade is selling, bartering, and trading the souls of the very people they are supposed to be representing and doing this for lucre.

Politics is one of the few businesses where a product can be advertised and not delivered and the public is so dumb they keep going back and voting again..over and over for something that will not be delivered.
And yet the media and our educational system do not teach this to the pubic while they shill and cheer lead for their respective teams/political parties. This is a definition of insanity.

I have very little interest in the Socialist Bogeyman except to observe their techniques...ad nauseum. To keep such peoples from me at arms length or further.

You on the other hand must have a social bogeyman to justify your position and thoughts. No problem by me. I just make note of it and sometimes debate or rebut the positions when I tire of it on these forums. One sees it often enough..like a bunch of cheerleaders shilling for their teams. Good Cop/Bad Cop.

You were clearly beating up on businesses for trying to manage their business and not automatically defaulting over to labor..no matter how much it cost these businesses.

Social Bogeymen of one category or another has become the siren cry of many groups out here..under all variations of the "Victim Dictum."

The Gay groups, the Women's Groups, the Minorities and also of Labor. All of them "Victims."

All of these groups rely on a sense of emotional outrage to control their flocks to their side or to the voting booth.
And so too does the body politic. This technique, to those of us who know it and how it works, is called..."Whoredom." The buying. selling, and trading of someones very soul for lucre. Even for a lie and deception.

It was Phil Donahue who brought this out to the public as a control method..."Victimization" and made it a part of public indoctrination nationwide. Politics just quickly picked up on it as a control mechanism and incorporated it into their doctrine and practices. Labor is in bed deeply with politics and willing to sell, barter, or trade the souls of any and everyone for votes and power. I know this because organized labor has become a business and can be ruthless in a ruthless marketplace.

I have no use for the talk show circuit ..particularly the Victim Dictum which is so popular on them. DNA and lie detector tests as well..for they are all feminine..just like politics.

When I detect someone trying to stroke my emotions my radar and alarm bells go off and into operation.

Be very careful what you think is the truth on many things Smedley. There are peoples out here who know differently.

Thanks for your posts,
Orangetom

Smedley Butler,

I have posted this video several times on ATS and I am going to post it for you and the other readers out here again.

This video here shows or illustrates a knowledgeable person silencing a big mouth or what I call a person appearing to be sophisticated and intelligent when he is in fact ..not so.

This person is Phil Donahue..the ultimate emotional train wreck. Observe how he can be silenced once you know how to think and express outside of the box of what passes for excellence today. By this I mean "emotions and emotional default settings' which some believe allows them to play through unquestioned and unchallenged without debate..like a default setting on this computer.
The present administration in the White House and their political party often do this same Good cop/Bad cop routine to the people. They thus take advantage of peoples emotions and their ignorance of how this Goodcop/Bad cop routine works

When I watch a video like this though it took place some years ago..I am often reminded of another emotional train wreck of today named Chris Matthews. There are others but Chris Matthews comes to mind by me.

Here ..Phil Donahue and Milton Freedman.

www.youtube.com...

Watch ..enjoy and learn..

Thanks,
Orangetom
