Taxes are slavery, and asking for someone else to pay taxes for your benefit is, well, also slavery. To create jobs, all you have to do is legalize business.

I don't know how I skipped over this, this is insane:

and the get to the bones of it rich dont mean nothing and the biggest reason of that is inflation

the value of the dollar is meaningless and so is the terms millionaires and billionaires.

what

what

what

So, "rich dont mean nothing" because inflation is so bad? Inflation is SO bad that billionaires are no wealthier than welfare bums? What kind of world are you living in, man? It sure isn't reality. Is this the kind of bizarre fictional universe that makes peasants pity the rich? What IS this?

[This is a rhetorical question. I do not expect a reasonable response from someone who thinks that inflation today is so bad that billionaires are not really rich]

This is why we have gridlock. When people actually believe we shouild pity the rich, how can we possibly come to an equitable solution.

Sadly, there are people in DC that think this very way.

So sad.

In a FEW sentences here is the scam in a nutshell

The only thing that creates Jobs is consumer demand

Consumer demand comes mostly from the middle class consumer, NOT RICH PEOPLE

Consumer demand is way down now because ordinary consumers are afraid and are saving the little money they have.

They will start spending again when they feel secure in the economy and in their jobs

Rich people never create jobs because there is not enough of them to increase macro consumer demand

Companies are not hiring now because consumer demand is down

The problem is not that companies have no money or investment capital because interest rates are at zero and they have record profits

Therefore the GOP idea of “JOB CREATORS” IS A LIE!

Because jobs are created out of macro consumer demand not giving money to rich people who are already spending

Therefore the GOP are liars and deceivers and will only hurt the economy further by cutting taxes for the rich

the fact is money and jobs go to where the greatest demand is and where the enviornment is most friendly to business

Now we're getting somwhere.

So how will an increase in the INDIVIDUAL tax rate hurt buisness? There is no better environment to buisness than the US, period.
Cutting taxes on them will not create jobs, nor will raising taxes cause a loss of jobs.
Glad to see you come over to the right side of the argument.

How can we create demand? Pay the people a decent living wage so they will have more disposable income. They won't stuff it in derivatives or offshore accounts. They will be able to pay their bills, get off of foodstamps and buy more Xboxes.

Instant demand.

In a Tea Party dream world, all wealth is possessed by the top 2% of the population. They willingly hire everybody, women and children included, to do menial tasks so that they achieve 100% employment. 100% employment, even at slave labour wages, is the only goal of the Tea Partier's economic policies.

It's ironic that TP hates people who 'depend' on the government, but they want everyone to depend on 'job creators'... and be grateful for the privilege!

The tea party philosophy is ignorant, divisive and basically exists as a propaganda tool for the rich to continue their abuse of the system, which started under the ignoramus and puppet Ronald Reagan in 1981 with his massive tax cuts for the rich and his tax increases on the poor and middle class . . . and continued under the dunce and puppet George Bush with his massive latest tax cuts for the rich in 2001.

Just what the GOP and their posse, the tea party, are planning to do now: tax cuts for the rich and increases for the poor and middle class . . . probably with the complicity of the quisling Barack Obama.

Here is a short (sarcasm) movie on slavery.

Please watch and tell me how this compares to present day taxes.

And when did doing buisness become illegal? Please clarify, if true I must notify the company I work for (largest grocer in America) to cease and desist, and notify the authorities.

The "50 million people on welfare" create jobs every time they buy a hamburger. That is because ALL of their money gets spent at the bottom, where it actively stimulates the economy through supply and demand. The fact that you continuously fail to "get this" is the clearest sign yet that our public school education system is a complete and utter failure.

go ahead an tax them only 200 thousand left when their gone who the hell are you going to tax?

you? dont think so.
Dude every single rich person is not just going to say "Enough!", tell their families to pack up their s***, and head to Canada, that is insane.

200 thousand millionaires 400 billionaires who can pick and and leave anytime they want.
That's a lot of money that could be used to chip away at our debt or help to fund other things.

you want to know what a country with no rich looks like?

the former soviet union emphasis on former and north korea.
I don't know where you're getting this delusional idea that all of the wealthy in this country will leave us peasants to rot if taxes are increased.

hey but feel free to continue to act fascist.
Call it fascism, communism, socialism, or whatever other terms Michele Bachmann has been tossing around lately. Taxing the extremely wealthy, or the politically correct term "job creators" more than we currently do would bring in more money than hoping they all spend lots of money. And they wouldn't leave the country if taxes were increased, we both know that's crazy.

The lie of the GOP about JOB CREATORS belongs to one of their spiritual forefathers:

As Adolf Hitler said: 'Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.

I have been in various entrepreneurial enterprises for over 25 years; From manufacturing, retail, service and now consulting and media.

I have employed over 100 people at different times during my tenure as an businessman....

and now according to you, I have been an outlaw all these years when I thought I was contributing to the common good of the nation. damn!

I wonder if I should turn myself in or make a run for it.....

Topic..........it's the American entrepreneurial spirit that drives job creation coupled with disposable income, and a feeling of optimism; Unlike the fear driven, hateful, divisive , crybaby attitudes of the GOP/TPM that actually prevent small business men from opening new business or expanding. In stead of offering incentives, the GOP wants to give even more subsidies/tax breaks to big business to ship jobs overseas while the actual job creators [small businessmen] suffer. See the disconnect in their lies.

Yep!

People are starting to wake up. GOP has been using the guise of stating that Obama wants to raise taxes. In effect, trying to sway the public into believing that everyone's taxes will go up. Nope.

People are starting to wake up. The wealthy that made their money in this country have an obligation to ante up the same percentage as the garbage man or the barber. Put it in the pot, pal!

This job creator scam is going to come to an end. They aren't job creators. They're job destroyers. Everyone needs to wake up on this one. It's the ultimate in class warfare. The wealthiest are getting wealthier off the backs of the workers, and they're destroying job after job after job. All the while, middle class republicans support this? LOL

Referring to the poor as lazy and parasitic and vouching for taking away their social programs is class warfare. Getting rid of tax cuts for the rich isn't, as rich people don't need the tax cuts, whereas you can't say the same for the poor. People aren't going to take you seriously when you use hyperbole like that.

Again with the ignorance.

If you consume, you pay taxes. Period. The only people who pay no taxes are infants and the dead.

If you buy anything - be it food, retail items or gas (the list goes on) YOU PAY TAXES.

I will continue to call you out each and every time you spread this LIE.

Indeed! Let's see...products get shipped on public roads/airports/waterways. Trash is hauled away either by city govt or by a private co under watch by the city. Water and sewer is provided by public districts. Business buildings are built to public code to ensure they don't collapse.

Public fire depts come to the rescue. Police come to the rescue without demanding a bribe. Public food/pipeline/well inspectors should have done a better job, so businesses wouldn't have had to lose money on recalls/shell out money for lawsuits...which often are set anyway to have minimal impact.

If you're big enough, the US military will act as your private army, or at least throw govt contracts your way...or fight for a "way of life", read "oil" as energy source, as one general finally and honestly declared, a "way of life" we should have never gone back to in 1980.

Public infrastructure is important to business/farmers. The old Soviet Union had a problem getting goods to its people, and look where they ended up.

I think the problem for the US started when some people decided we should no longer manufacture stuff here but instead become the world's financial center (eg., "manufacturing" fast food to feed people who would sell financial "products"). So instead of providing needed investment in 21st century energy/infrastructure, govt "investment" consisted of dismantling/changing regulations to pave the way smooth for the flow of dollars.

I scratched my head when Obama couldn't come up with a Medicare E, Medicare for Everyone, until I realized he was doing what every president in the past has done, support American enterprise and markets. This time, it's no longer what's good for GM that's good for America, rather it's become what's good for the insurance/finance "industry" that's good for America...until it's not...and we end up with a Great Recession.

Re the specific thread theme...This "baloney" is just more of the same old "baloney" that's been around for decades, only the manufacturer of said baloney has increased its production and joined forces...

That's an argument I've never really understood, "Rich people create jobs".....how? Does a millionaire one day say "You know what, I'm sick of golfing, I'm going to build a factory and provide lots of jobs for my community!".

Question, How many poor people have you ever worked for?

I've been in business for over twenty five years and had plenty of employees stick with me thru times when not only was I broke and poor but so deeply in debt that the business was in danger of going tits up. But thru hard work and perseverance and the dedication of some loyal employees we were able ride the gravey train yet once again. I gave substantial bonuses and a piece of the action for their faith and loyalty. This isn't an uncommon occurrence in the world of entrepreneurship. It's also not uncommon to fail and go broke and leave good people in bad circumstances which I have also done. I have even given a failed business of mine to my helpers in hopes that they could save it when my business model had obviously failed....and they did make it profitable.

Currently I am working on a project for a producer on spec. He has no money to pay the crew or talent but if the project eventually gets picked up by cable or a network then we will get paid. It's a gamble, it's exciting and possibly very rewarding. Many, many TV pilots and feature length movies are started just this way; sometimes even the movie trailer is made before the movie; trying to sell the idea to someone like HBO or Lionsgate in order to raise capital to shoot the movie.
