holy biased article batman ! not even worth discussing. bush breaks out a chainsaw for a photo op, and his 6 week vacation is deserved ?

2 questions for you

1) where is boehner today ?

2) do you really think he isn't getting briefed, and can't act if need be on an emergency or national security issue ?

Every time a US president dares to take a holiday it seems someone, somewhere whines about it.

Apparently there's always something that only he (so far) can fix - although the people who whine always seem to be the ones to think the president of the time isn't actually any good and can't actually fix anything anyway.......

They also don't seem to realize that he can perform every single job function no matter where he is. This post is totally irrelevant.

Not relevant to this discussion. A deflection attempt. But I suppose if obama acted like a real leader, he could have strongly requested that congress come back to help him deal with these issues instead of partying.

There IS an economic emergency going on. I suppose obama's golf caddy can whisper a briefing in his ear as obama is about to putt, but is obama really acting on anything that needs to be acted upon right now?

No, and that IS the point.

The posts on here defending Obama are totally incredible! That's why the nation is in the crapper like it is. People defend him over and over again for living his elitist's life of self-proclaimed entitlement.
He could have easily taken a long weekend to Chicago or somewhere else less exquisite. But no, he thumbed his nose to everyone and again did exactly what he wants while "knowing that his clueless followers would defend him." And, he was right. You defend his actions no matter what he does. In your eyes, he can do no wrong. How pathetic.
