A Purely Speculative Theory On Consciousness.

Nothing can exist outside of consciouness, everything appears within it.
Consciousness is the space. The container for all known 'things'.
The knower of the contents is the space in which all 'things' appear, manifest.

When we are asleep, or otherwise unconscious, our consciousness has left us, or that session has ended, allowing us to be born again or conscious again in the morning or whenever we regain consciousness.
So, what happens to our individual conscious spark when we are sleeping.
Where does it go?
Does it just lie dormant inside us?
Or do we tap into some resevoir of it when we awake? Or something.....
