Rick Perry's Hardcore History of Investment in Porn

www.politicususa.com

Rick Perry, God’s Chosen to pray Texas into prosperity, invested as a private citizen in Movie Gallery corporation to the tune of between 5-10k according to his 1995 personal financial reports. Movie Gallery was, at that time, the largest distributor of porn in America, and able to sell and rent regular videos for much cheaper than the competition due to their heady porn profit. The ultra conservative American Family Association (AFA), a self-described “Christian organization promoting the biblical ethic of decency in American society with primary emphasis on TV and other media” known fo

Well, well....the Bilderberg approved, good ole' boy from Texas....heck, he shoots coyotes while taking a jog in the morning. He is a God fearing, soap opera look-alike good guy, right?

Is it really any surprise anymore how corrupt our system is?

This guy is so slick, isn't he? Al Gore thinks so too.

(yes ATS, I know this is a hardcore liberal source, of which values I'm sure I abhor...but still.)

Rick Perry is a fake...beware

He invested in a video store franchise that happened to sell porn movies on the side.

I don't get the controversy?

In fact I think it's kind of petty.

they're all fakes

we'd do better with no president, congress, senate, or "justice" system - just a nice council of elders from multiple ethnic backgrounds. then maybe we'd progress or something.

I don't think it's petty when you consider the man's "Christian family values" platform.

Not just any old porn company, either, America's largest distributor at the time.

While I agree with with Carseller, Perry's Bilderberg attendance and NAU involvement is enough for me. Greasy, greasy slimeballs.

This is a cheap shot.
Texas has a really good economy compared to the rest of the US.
Ranked 13th in THE WORLD!
He must be doing something right.

Bringing up a 5-10K investment over 15 years ago. It was still just an investment in a movie rental franchise that
happened to rent porn movies on the side, it wasn't their main attraction.

Petty.

What's also funny while you are degrading him because of his "involvement", the majority of you
are probably watching porn right now.

This fits nicely...
"You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

So....the mud slinging has started early!....(lol)....if this is true about Rick Perry....it doesn't surprise me....many, many men are into porn (they are closet porn viewers).....but go to church regularly...it is (their dirty little secret)...I'm just saying.

Just for the record in the past I have seen porn....via an ex-boyfriend.....I learned then...it is just not for me. I personally do not partake of porn in the here and now.

And...really...everyone on ATS...does not watch porn and not everyone on ATS are hypocrites either.

Well that is even more a tenuous connection than his NAR connections.

I am as much against Perry as the next person, but the media is really making long logical stretches trying to discredit him.

I lived in Texas for 7 years, south of Dallas, moved back home to Louisiana last year. I enjoyed living there and consider myself part Texan...

That's why this guy makes me sick!

What about him makes you sick?
The fact that he "MIGHT" watch porn. Or the fact that he is a good governor?

Just curious...

I like porn like the next guy, come on.

But he made money off of it, and he's running for President, and he's touted as the conservative that will save us all.

I like Texas too (as I've already stated).

Please put down your Texas flag for a minute.

How can you look yourself in the mirror thinking he was a good Governor?

He killed the anti-TSA grope and grab your junk bill...

He tried to force young women to take forced vaccinations, that turned out to be deadly,

If he's a good Governor, what do you consider bad?!?!?

[moHow could Texas have such a great economy when the unemployment rate is officially 9.1% and for the overall state and much of Texas has a much higher rate. Like everywhere else in the US that is what is officially reported. People who believe these MSM news are the same people who believe the earth is flat.

The circumstances do seem odd, but I think there is more to the story than what is being said.
He is a person just like you and I. Every Politician does something that we wont agree with from time to time.

In the bigger picture the vaccinations had the potential to save lives. So he had good intentions.
They force children to get multiple vaccinations to go to school, young adults are forced vaccinations for college and even employers force vaccinations or screenings on employees, it's just a part of life.

As for the TSA issue, yeah it sucks to be groped (for some) , but the US was threatening a no fly zone over Texas which would have been devastating to the economy.

So overall, I think he is doing a lot better job the most governors out there.

It's actually at 8.1%, right at the middle in the rankings. The unemployment rate isn't the only factor in a good economy.
