#IfAliensAttack is number one worldwide trending topic on Twitter

Im not sure how many of you use twitter but it is a very innovative social tool. The trending topic (#IfAliensAttack) could mean nothing at all but i thought it was interesting. its the #1 world wide topic being discussed, some discussing the topic intelligibly, some discussing their hopes aliens attack Justin Bieber.

What do you guys think about this?

Any new alien movies come out this weekend?

I'm assuming it's for the Discovery Channel's new series, I think it's called "Curiosity", premiers tonight at 8pm. It looks at extremely unlikely hypothetical scenarios and how things might work out, it's not limited to just sci-fi or aliens, but I mean honestly, the History Channel and Discovery rang out the whole "alien invasion" towel about 95 times too many in the last two years. The "jump the shark" moment was when History wanted to suggest that Nazi Germany was in collusion with some alien technology to help them win the war via a supercharged Bell (die glocke) or something like that.

I'm sure Hollywood's got a big part in this. Cowboys & Aliens in the theaters at the moment (even if it's failing miserably) and promotions hitting everywhere about the upcoming Battleship...
