Dave - it may be some other reason? You are somewhere on this bus route then I assume?
Problem is the 36 bus doesnt go anywhere near central 6 - unless all buses are being delayed out of the city centre?

Its amazed me that there are several people from Coventry on here (only 4 I know) but almost everyone else you ever see is from the states or other cities in the UK...

Seems we are ok for now but it wouldn't surprise me if it did kick off.

Looks calm enough - but assuming police presence "just in case" people start appearing there...

no riots up central 6 mates just drove up theres just a police van sitting there
and no riots in foleshill just a car crash

I went to Central Six earlier this afternoon and all seemed well, no windows or any shops interior were damaged and it was not blocked off, and all other sources lead me to presume that Central Six (and the rest of Coventry - touch wood) escaped last night's rioting. The police and buses were merely a precaution.

Shops in Jubilee Cresent Radford were trashed last night despite police saying no disorder - Evening Telegraph. Rumours still going strong on Twitter. Shops are boarding their windows up.
