Would disclosure really be so terrible?

It is when you do learn what has been going on, the deals that have been made, the experiments conducted and the conflicts and control going on. With most people not smart, strong or decent enough to work out something as simple as 9/11, the alien situation is getting way out of their depth.

The available literature is full of complexity, strangeness and deception, but it is clear that something is going on. Gradually more and more people are waking up to it with their own pieces of the puzzle. There is already a lot of disclosure around if you are prepared to take that step.

One problem i have with the theory of a cover up is that any government who really had a crashed UFO could potentially become the most powerful or at least feared country on the planet. It would be great for any economy. I think if the US had such a craft they would be waving it in everyones faces as a warning to their power.

IN stead of that the USA is sh#####ing 7 different colors of sh## because they know who the occupants are and can't do anything against them.

I think all of the above explanations could be true. We're still nowhere far really when it comes to the truth, other than UFOs are real and whatever drives them also interacts with people on a very personal basis. That could be genuine aliens or it could be secret advanced experiments, or both. It's real whatever it is.

...The polls clearly show that nearly half of the american population believes we are being visited, correct? But we do not see half the population running around in fear. That half of the population lives perfectly normal lives.

Because there is an ENORMOUS difference between "believing" something may be true and KNOWING it is true.

Think of it this way: A majority of the population also believes in GOD. But they continue with their lives as normal even with such belief - as it is just a belief, a faith - nothing more. Now imagine if God (ANY God) suddenly appeared as a giant floating being in the clouds and started hurling lightning bolts down or sending squads of angels or whatever. Well - THEN this majority (and just about everyone else) would indeed start running in circles screaming their heads off or down on their knees sobbing, etc. Get it?

Belief is one thing. Up in your face is another all together. Belief is easy, harmless, dismissible. Reality is cold, humbling, potentially dangerous, anxiety-ridden.

Thats a good point.

But, what you are talking about is God throwing lightning bolts at us, which is very dangerous, and totally acceptable to be afraid of. If the aliens came down and started attacking people and taking over, the population would be scared because of what the aliens were doing, not because there were aliens. Same thing with God. If god calmly sits in the heavens watching us, then the people that believe in him dont have any reason to run around screaming. If the aliens calmly sit in our skys watching us, then the people who believe in them also have nothing to be afraid of, right?
