Help with removing Monster Marketplace Virus

Hi All -

I've done a full system scan - it's still not showing, but, I'm sure I've got the Monster Marketplace Virus.

Malwarebytes, Avast, Iobit360 - all up to date and NONE of them find it or fix it.

Can anyone direct me to a FREE removal tool? (Not one that's a free download but you have to pay for removal)!!!

Or maybe someone out there can tell me how to remove it?

I've had NO LUCK with Tech Support Guy (which is how I usually deal with these issues).

Also - I'm getting this notice from HiJack This:

EDIT TO ADD: I did what HiJack this posted in the notice and it changed nothing.

I should have added malwarebytes didn't catch it either and obviously that means hasn't fixed it.

I run Norton and if I have any issues run their Power Eraser, there is a warning it may quarantine legitimate files but it's free as far as I'm aware. Might be worth a try.

do you have back up files? if you do restore your system to a previous state before it became infected. Hope that helps problem is you will lose any files saved after the restore point

yes it removes any software uploaded after restore point. Case in point you may need to get new drives or patches because you will be running an older version of firefox or windows explorer press f8 when windows is loading have it run in safe mode then set the system to restore bang done.
you now owe me $320 for my services : geek squad ahaha

On the other had I'd really like to learn how to get rid of this one myself... Seeings as it's not software... I've not installed anything lately. Only place I've been in the last 4 days is ATS and Google start-up-page, sooooo... That points a finger - here.

Who knows...

ADDED NOTE: I might add that while I was writing this note post the first time - and the ONLY place I've been is ATS (besides my home page) - I get another FULL PAGE pop up... A 'groupon' place. I'll not post the link just in case it's corrupt.

This is pissing me off it only happens when I go to ATS.

First thing i would do is run a scan with this:
support.kaspersky.com...

Just to be safe, its scan is very fast and can kill a lot of nasty bootkits/rootkit stuff going around.

Then if it finds something it should give you the option to cure and then reboot.

After all that, then i would clear out all temp files with this tool:

Next, would be malwarebytes AND a superantispyware scan.

This is just a basic method, but safe to try and worth a shot.

If all else fails, ONLY if, you could try this tool:

Have you got "Microsofts security essentials" installed?

I recently had a trojan on my system that was missed by several reputable Anti-virus/malware proggies but MSSE picked it up. It might be worth a try if the above brings up naught.

All viruses are software. It would seem to be in your cookie files and might replicate into other files and folders worse case its in your root files. At that point with no back up restore you would need to reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows losing every file in the process.Also this virus could be in your router and if it has been hijacked, You need to reset it. Find the reset button and push and hold it in for 30 seconds. The router must be on. Usually with a hijacked browser one of you machines is infected. So if you fix the router and it works but then after a short time it starts doing it again you will have to find the infection. Also you might want to password protect your router. Just go to the support site for you router to find out how to do that.
