Are Bats Plotting Against Mankind ?

In Australia (no folks not Hitlers birthplace) bats that spend their time hanging upside down and pooping on cars and peoples heads, have ignited fear and panic amongst Aussies .
They basically are infecting two of mans best friends horses and dogs, in alarming numbers.
This virus caused by these perhaps mad bats is called the "Hendra Virus" and there is no way to stop it.
The virus itself is deadly and fast killing.
The Sharp and caring Aussie councils are forbidding anyone to cut down backyard trees that are home to these vampirish creatures.
Therefore people are cowering in fear one can imagine as these nocturnal vultures squawk and screech , and harass humans at night.
The virus can be contracted by biting or via the poo of the bats.
They poop everywhere and even attack windows during the very loud mating season.
are they plotting th edemise of mankind via the Hendra virus?

Nah, j/k.. I thought you were going to refer to the woman who was on the news for using a loud horn to scare them off, $150,000 fine if she does it again, or something...

It's insane. If it's that bad go to the news with it, if they get a second case of rabid bat plague, they can't ignore it much longer.

I've noticed many bats are the same color as Obama. Do you think he is in on it considering he poops on and attacks the constitution on a regular basis?

Collectively a low IQ per brain can become a super IQ via the huge numbers of bats in a colony.
You may think this is a silly thread , but nature does plot against Humanity, and many examples could be given to support this.
Bats have no one leader, they share their duties and responsibilities equally.
The Authorities in Australia are underplaying th erisk perhaps and allowing the virus to spread until money can be made , and it will be a diversion for the current Labour party if they can defeat the bat enemy, in time for the next Federal Australian Elections.

Its not just the bats, its the bees,rats,pigs,mosquitos,jellyfish and the multiple diseases that are not directly related to the listed animals. My thought is that certain animals are like immune cells for living earth, its trying to get rid of us by whatever means, maybe takeing out species that are asscoiated with us to

Totally agree , and on perhaps an emotional level the bats are jealous of our special relationship with horses and dogs, do the bats long to be allowed in Human houses and sleep in a warm and cosy environment?

Do they despise the dogs that have such ready access to humans yet seldom draw the blood?

Do bats crave human blood to spread it acrosss nature via fruit ect?

both me and my brother have been dive bombed by them before, Maybe they are jelous of something, although its always been out in areas full of trees to avoid and full of bugs so thats probably it, myabe thats why they enjoy mosqiutos so much get someone else to get the blood for them.

hendra is fukn scarry badass # kills in 2 weeks when virus spreads what i heard is that dogs have some immunitty to hendra..

That could make sense, the mosquitos are like the super stealth blood gatherers ...the blood gets mixed with the more robust Bats, fermented with fruit stuff from trees and then spread across the earth.
The Hendra virus is in fact a by product of the mutated changed blood?
The so called scientists can't stop this virus but with lateral thinking we maybe can?
So we have mosquitos and bats in the blood chain eating fruit off trees , pooping or biting dogs, horses an dperhaps directly humans? then the virus mutates and kills humans and horses?...but not dogs?

History has seen the vampire tales concerning bats ring a chord of foreboding and familiarity in consequent generations of mankind.
In Australia the numbers of bats is quite staggering.
I have seen them circling as I use my telescope at night, they seem very aware even though they are supposedly? blind..they monitorme and then circle if I move.
Hopefully the big dobsonian keeps them away.

theres a part of edmonton, where the keep the area wild, thats where the bats are, whole ton of them there at night

Yeah but to try and convey the problem in Australia one suburban street can have thousands of bats , and this street is in a city.
On the Gold Coast (Australia) I once attended a Dracula restauraunt ....(a cabaret style theme castleof sorts) just metres from a major casino and surrounded by shopping malls and houses....overhead at dusk, the bats flew overhead so thick it made me cower into my wifes bosom.
Yes you may say woosey, but these bats were big and many.
You need an umbrella not to be pooed on if you care about your appearance.

would really suck to be in that situation coverd in bat crap and you get a disease.
this is crazy though in australia bats are giving diseases, in north america they are dying from a fungal disease, enough to drive you....dare i say batty
